23.01.2022 Introducing Henry Holiday. Henry is one of Lulu’s best friends and like Lulu, he loves to make sure no one ever feels left out, especially in the school yard. Henry has an older brother Harrison, who always tells him how important it is to be the nice kid, not the mean one. Henry always wears his favourite blue beanie to school because it makes him feel confident and safe. Kids at school like to giggle at his hat and that makes him giggle too. Everyone loves Henry. #thetalesoflululollypopandfriends

21.01.2022 Need a gift idea for a little one this Christmas? Macca the Alpaca is an absolute favorite in our house. It’s a gorgeous book which is funny and cleverly touches on bullies, emotions and hugs, just to name a few. A must read.

19.01.2022 This year I had the honor of becoming a Pyjama Angel for the Pyjama Foundation, and I truly love it. Pyjama Angels help children in foster care achieve their dreams. By spending an hour per week with a foster child, focusing on learning-based activities such as reading, writing, playing games and simply talking, the direction of a child’s life can change. Being a Pyjama Angel is one of the most rewarding roles I have ever had. Learn more about this fantastic foundation at www.thepyjamafoundation.com #thepyjamafoundation

17.01.2022 Poppy White is another of Lulu’s best friends and is always referred to as the ‘funny one’ of the group. She is forever telling jokes, wearing funny headbands and making people laugh. Being funny makes Poppy feel strong and confident. She loves trying out her new jokes on her little sister Pippa and guinea pig Paris. They always laugh. Poppy does the best she can to make sure her friends are always smiling, especially if they are feeling sad. She is the best friend anyone could ask for #thetalesoflululollypopandfriends

17.01.2022 Never a truer word spoken..I wish this knowledge upon all children. Dr Seuss you are a genius...

15.01.2022 Happy World Kindness Day everyone! You know what that means? Be kind even when no one is watching. Be that person who makes others feel special. Be the reason someone smiles today. Choose to be kind.

14.01.2022 ‘The Tales of Lulu Lollypop and Friends - Don’t be mean Lucy McLean’ was written with one main goal, to teach children about kindness. #teachthemyoung

14.01.2022 School holidays are almost over! Such an exciting time ahead for our little cherubs. ‘The Tales of Lulu Lollypop and Friends Don’t be mean Lucy McLean’ is a great read for little ones going into Kindy, Prep and Grade 1, as it discusses school yard bullying and how we need to be kind to everyone, even the bullies themselves. The book highlights that when you are kind to everyone, your world can be filled with magical dreams and awesome friendships #jodiegriffithsauthor

13.01.2022 Giving a child a book this Christmas is truly one of the best presents you could give. One can never have too many books.

11.01.2022 Never too old to dream...happy Monday

11.01.2022 Over the Summer holidays, there was a fantastic ‘Reading Challenge’ held, which required children to read books daily, according to what the challenge chart said. There were some very funny ideas like ‘read a book under a chair’, ‘read a book standing on one leg’, ‘ read a book with a pirate voice’ and ‘read whilst wearing sunglasses’, just to name a few. Gus loved the challenge, plus we got some amusing photos. It was easy, fun and great to keep the little ones reading. #summerreadingchallenge

07.01.2022 Writing about topics such as being kind, looking after one another and being the best person you can be is very rewarding, and many other writers must agree as there are countless picture books that discuss these topics. Having read may of these books, one stand-out book for me is ‘Chrysanthemum’. This picture book story has many beautiful messages and encourages kindness and acceptance at school. The wording is delightful and the topic of bullying is very real and relatable. A must read for all little ones. I hope you enjoy.

05.01.2022 I don’t mind where you read as long as you read my book...thanks little legends...#thetalesoflululollypopandfriends #jodiegriffithsauthor
