12.01.2022 I have always been an advocate for supporting local artists. It is not often that an artists income reflects the time, passion and dedication they put into their work. So this one was pretty special for me. Meet Pixie Brown, a local Anangu artist derived from the Mala people, the original custodians of Uluru and Kata Tjuta (Olgas). This painting represents the story of the Seven Sisters. The 3 main circles are Uluru, Kata Tjuta and the Anangu all connected and the 7 U-shaped symbols are the Seven Sisters star constellation. Such an amazing experience and so grateful to have my children sitting there being part of this wondrous interaction. #supportlocalartists
