24.01.2022 Mongolian Lamb YIAH Style 500 gs Lamb Strips 1 Red Capsicum 1 Green Capsicum... 1 Purple/Salad Onion 2 tbsp.s YIAH Mongolian Dip Mix 1/4 cup. Soy Sauce 1/4 cup. hoisin sauce 1/4 cup. Sweet Chilli Sauce 2 tbsp.s ginger 1 tbsp. garlic 1 tbsp. Sesame Oil Prepare meat first in order to marinate for as long as possible. Overnight is best however, if short on time, a few hours will do. To marinate meat, place meat, Mongolian Dip Mix, Sesame Oil & 1 tsp each of Garlic & Ginger. Mix well and allow to marinate. If marinating in the fridge overnight (or for several hours), remove from fridge at least 30mins before cooking (less in the Summer) in order for the meat to warm a little. This prevents it toughening once it hits the hot pan. 1. Slice Capsicums & Onions, add to pan on medium heat with 1 tbsp Sesame Oil, cook until softened. Remove from pan and set aside. 2. Add meat to med hot pan and quickly seal. Do not allow meat to stew in its juices. No more than 60 seconds. Remove from pan and set aside. 3. Add all other ingredients with pan on low. Once added, place vegetables back into the pan and coat well in the sauce. Once coated and sauce begins thickening, add Lamb. Cook for no more than 2mins (or the meat will go tough). 20.01.2022 YIAH Chilli Con Carne is simply the best and so easy to prepare 1 tbsp. YIAH Intense Garlic Olive Oil 1 tbsp. YIAH Wild Lime Olive Oil 500 gs lean beef mince... 1 medium brown onion, finely chopped 1 medium red capsicum, diced 1 small zucchini, Grated 2 tsp. YIAH Chilli Con Carne Spice Blend 400 gs can red kidney beans, drained, rinsed 195 gs can corn kernels, drained (optional) 2 x 400 gs cans diced tomatoes Heat both the oils in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add mince and onion and fry for a few minutes and then add capsicum, zucchini and spice blends for 10 minutes or until mince is browned. Add beans, corn and diced tomato. Stir to combine and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes. I also add a tablespoon of tomato paste 10 minutes before serving.
