18.01.2022 This butterfly was on our downstairs patio, a while ago now. I wanted to share because it was very pretty and one I have not noticed here before. It is easy to find things you are aware of, but when you dont know something exists it is harder to find or knowing what to find. It is when we open ourselves up to what might be possible we find what we dont know.

18.01.2022 Learning new crafts is a great way to help get some self care time. One the weekend I learnt how to make kokadamas and a macrame hanger. Both are crafts I would like to do more of. How about you? What craft or other creative expression are you learning or mastering at the moment?

12.01.2022 Welcome to my morning. I just wanted to share my quiet time with you. It is a time to reflect for all that I am grateful for. It is a time to dream. Most of all it is a time to just be present in the moment. To notice the cours and hear the noises and give the mind chatter a break for a minute.

08.01.2022 My local community spans an area of about a 60km radius of my home. In this area there is about 20 families. Every few months we come together at a water hole at Uanda to just gather and check in with each other. These gatherings might be the only time we see each other for months at a time because we are all busy looking after large farms and lots of animals as well as our own families. What is important is we gather and we have face to face interaction and we all look out for each other. How many communities do this? Especially where people are in abundance. We need to remember we are a large community made up of many micro communities and everyone is responsible for making connections between us all.
