24.01.2022 Hey Australia! As someone who has never skipped a show or taken a sick day in my life.. it is killing me that I have to announce a further postponement of my 2020 tour. This applies to Perth, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane. Melbourne please stay tuned for an announcement on new shows.... And apologies to Mandurah, Bunbury, Toowoomba and Narre Warren whose dates we've had to cancel for the forseeable future. It's a long story but essentially with every performers live dates from this year being pushed back, theatre availabilities next year are sparse, travel is limited etc etc. 2020 huh? But cannot WAIT to see you on stage live next year. Once again my apologies, we held out to the very last minute to see if we could make these a possibility. (Your tickets automatically roll over to the new shows or refunds are available if you can't make it. Cancelled shows tickets will automatically be refunded) Details and any queries head to Live Nation Australia & New Zealand: https://www.livenation.com.au/artist/joel-creasey-tickets
24.01.2022 It was VERY briefly mentioned in passing... practically a whisper... that I dress punk for tonight’s show (in honor of our guests The Living End). But I approached the assignment with the gusto of Roxxxy Andrews in a sewing challenge and raced down to Spotlight, bought an oversized safety pin and doused it in glitter to make this gorgeous brooch. Thus I present to you my take on punk. And before you suggest I whack on some eyeliner, I’ve tried in the past but I’m so pale it makes me look like the zombie of Ellen Degeneres. Come give me shit (or heap me with praise, I swing both ways) about my punk look, 8pm over on the Coopers page for ‘LIVE, LOUD & LOCAL’!
24.01.2022 A stand up special I shot a couple of years back at the Sydney Opera House is now up on Amazon Prime Video worldwide! Check it out! #bigyellowtaxiproductions #justforlaughs_syd
23.01.2022 I'll be competing against some of my favourite funny people as we try to make either other LOL, ROFL, LMFAO... or any other abbreviation I used regularly in high school on my Nokia 3315. All hosted by Rebel. Starts next Friday on Amazon Prime Video!
23.01.2022 Canberra! I’ve just arrived and been informed there are FIFTEEN tickets left for my show tonight! Quick quick quick! Tix: https://www.livenation.com.au//joel/canberra/2021-03-13/en
23.01.2022 Hello! I am Pikachoosing to stay inside and isolate as much as possible over these next few weeks. Plus all my work has been postponed as my next few months was put aside for my national tour!! And now Eurovision has cancelled! Aaagh! *deep breaths* *plays Enya* In accordance with health guidelines all my tour dates are currently postponed so simply hold on to your tickets and we’ll announce new shows, with same seating etc as soon as possible (possibly as early as next week)...! Sadly Hobart and Melbourne have had to cancel and it genuinely breaks all our hearts - from artists, to promoters and all staff and crew working on these shows. We will do all we can to get my tour to both these cities later in the year so stand by for an announcement in the future. In the meantime I am keeping things low key and supporting my local cafes and restaurants. If it’s within your means I urge you to do so. I just did an online shop from some of my favorite independent butchers, grocers and bakers: some of which have already arrived! I've accidentally ordered cheese, mostly, so just think how curvy and voluptuous I’m going to be when you finally DO see me on stage this year!! Sending all my J x
22.01.2022 Look, I'm still not totally over "meringues" being accepted...
20.01.2022 Happy Halloween! We tried our hand at pumpkin carving yesterday and as per usual it got competitive
19.01.2022 Got to play a game show from my couch with my fellow Perth sister-from-another-mister Claire Hooper. Thank you M&M'S Australia and Melbourne International Comedy Festival for confirming I have not learnt a single thing in isolation!
18.01.2022 As Mardi Gras approaches it's a time of love and celebration and I've been thinking about my #1 bish, my mum, Jenny Creasey. If you've been to my shows, read my book or especially if you know me personally you'll know that my parents and I are extremely tight. Mum is an ally in every sense of the word. She's the Gabrielle to my Xena. The Batman to my Robin. The cheese to my cracker. I'm a very proud son of both my parents achievements. ... Mum is a classically trained actress and singer and former West End leading lady - ooh la la! (my dad was also an actor and the Solo man in the TV commercial - double ooh la la!) so it was only natural that they give birth to the glittery mess that is whatever I am?! My parents support has been rock solid my whole life and I am acutely aware of how lucky I am for that. She is my favourite person to make laugh, debate politics, eat great food with, meet up with in bizarre countries and dance with until the nightclub literally shuts and turfs us out. It's so important for our community to have allies - whether they be a mum, a friend, a teacher, your local barista, the hot plumber who gives you a cheeky wink... or Lady Gaga. So, allies, make your voices heard and feel free to give your fabulous LGBTIQ+ mates a shout out with an Absolut Love Letter who I'm collaborating with to spread the lurrrrve. Because if now isn't the time of year to do it... then when is?! And also hi mum! Love you! #absolutloveletters #makelovelouder
17.01.2022 Given I'm working from home I think this ill-fitting Superman costume is completely appropriate work attire. My boyfriend has really enjoyed me running at him completely unannounced yelling "LET ME FLY" and he has to catch me. Along with the impromptu dances, operas and musicals I've been performing for him, I think he really has scored. Anywho, between my quarantine performances, we’ve managed to reschedule a whole bunch of my tour dates and still working on the rest. See b...elow update! Live Nation Australia & New Zealand shows: Mandurah, Perth, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Sydney, Bunbury and Narren Warren. They have all been rescheduled (woo!) and ticketing info is available on their website. www.livenation.com.au Shows by Strut & Fret Production House: Newcastle, Wollongong and Hobart. No updates here yet but they will advise us and you (ticketholders) as soon as that information comes to hand. PS. I’m still hoping to schedule Melbourne, Canberra and Gold Coast shows for later in the year Will keep you updated. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Now I’m off to see what’s left at the shops. Should I leave this costume on? *PS I AM UPLOADING LOTS OF MY STUPIDITY TO MY INSTAGRAM STORIES IF YOU WANT TO WATCH*
17.01.2022 Gold Coast! I’m flying through these crazy storms and will see you on stage at the very civilized time of 6:45pm tonight at HOTA! Perfect pre-dinner entertainment!... Final tickets here: https://gclaughs.com.au/the-shows/joel-creasey.html (Also I realize this photo really doesn’t do the storm justice)
15.01.2022 There’s a bit going on in the world today so if you need a laugh I present to you me singing ‘Doctor Jones’ by Aqua...
14.01.2022 Much planned this weekend? Oh right, sorry, dumb question! Well if you’ve used up your weekly quota of irrational-arguments-with-your-dog-slash-pot-plant and are in need of a little entertainment... Myf Warhurst and I will be happy to oblige! We’re so excited to be hosting 'LIVE LOUD AND LOCAL'l presented by the legends at Coopers for the next few weeks. It’s a virtual pub experience where Myfanwy and I will be your virtual bartenders (now I just need to learn how to pour a... beer..). Legendary chef Shannon Bennett will be cooking up some posh pub meals in the kitchen, there’ll be trivia, prizes, Myf and I looking delectable... it has it all! For tonight's band room segment, we’ll be joined by special guest act... Illy. No biggie! Oh and no investment on your part either, just head to the Coopers Facebook page to stream the show, put some beers on ice, kick back and enjoy the greatest pub night of your life. Doors open at 8pm, so make sure you're on the Coopers Facebook page by then as we're going live. I am so excited to be leaving the house!! I am going to wear every single thing in my wardrobe! #LIVELOUDLOCAL
14.01.2022 Hello! It certainly has been one of the strangest weeks I’ve ever had at work. Most dates of my tour are currently postponed (some shows pending - see bottom of post) but my incredible promoters and managers are working hard to get information to you as soon as we can! Loads of people asking questions about specific dates... Please let me emphasise that this is a postponement and I cannot wait to perform for you as soon as possible. Performing for my audience is genuinely ...what gets me out of bed each day. Regardless of what you may think of me, I truly only do this job because I love making people laugh and providing some escapism for my audience . But as I said, all our teams are working around the clock on rescheduling. And yes your tickets will roll over and be valid for rescheduled shows!! We will let you know this information as soon as it comes to hand and we are just working through the logistics now so please bear with us as we do this. Like everyone, we only found out on Friday (and what a Friday the 13th it turned out to be)!! I am absolutely shattered but I do truly believe this is the right thing to do and frankly think more can be done by us all to help curb this issue. I’d rather look back and think we overreacted than regret we never did. However, if you can find a way within your means and safety guidelines to support our beautiful Australian arts community, please do so. And particularly our independent artists. Australia’s independent artists often work pay cheque to pay cheque and gig to gig and now many (most, really) are facing months of unemployment. They are the backbone of our arts industry. They are the ones out there every day of the week, 52 weeks a year, entertaining us in our theatres, tents, streets, pubs, markets, hens parties, charity fundraisers, festivals... the list goes on. They are the reason Australia has such a thriving and fucking fabulous arts scene. In the meantime don't worry about me too much. My team are rustling up new dates. And I'm the thriftiest bitch around so I will find a way to entertain you in the interim, I can assure you of that. Anywho! I have my last show in Adelaide tonight and I can’t wait to give you an absolute banger of a show! My boyfriend flew down to see it on Friday night and gave it his tick of approval! Sending all my J x CURRENTLY POSTPONED: Gold Coast Canberra Narre Warren Toowoomba Melbourne Bunbury Mandurah Sydney Perth Brisbane All other shows pending and we shall let you know ASAP.
12.01.2022 We are back tonight with ‘Live, Loud and Local’ from 8pm on the Coopers page with special guest James Reyne, tons of prizes and more. All hosted by Myf Warhurst and I! Come say hi! Watch here: https://www.facebook.com/Coopers/videos/902846826815177/
12.01.2022 Hey team! I started on Nova radio this last week 3-6pm every day. Was hesitant to post about it at first week to give myself time to learn what all the buttons do, learn everyone's names... etc... But I'm ready for your ears now so if you want to follow us and get involved in the comments you can find us Kate, Tim & Joel on Facebook or @katetimjoelshow on Instagram.... And when I saw "get involved" in the comments I mean let people know that I'm not some monster from another planet trying to ruin people's lives! Big love! Joel x

08.01.2022 I grew up loving Spicks and Specks so was genuinely stoked when I was invited on to their "00's" special on TV tonight at 7:30pm on ABC TV + iview. This was always my favourite game to watch so I was thrilled to completely decimate it with my terrible singing. But I definitely committed!
06.01.2022 2020! What a year huh? Like so many, queer venues and performers are doing it tough right now... so if you feel like giving some rainbow love to a community that I love so much, I've offered up a few suggestions. The masks I mention and model verrry sexy are by the amazing Sasha Starr (I'll post a link to her Instagram in the comments below) from Size Queens. You can order masks here: https://www.sizequeens.com.au. Or slide in to her DMs on Insta if you want something a bit ...more custom. And please tag any other amazing queer venues doing delivery, queer artists making masks or other useful things, shows on sale, organisations in need, the eggplant emoji... WHATEVER REALLY in the comments below and it might just help out someone somewhere! All my love, Joel (Currently locked down in Victoria... and still in bed at 11am)
05.01.2022 See you at 4:02:59 Kate, Tim & Joel x

03.01.2022 A big hello to all my cheap skates and people who have just made some bad life choices. It's that time of the year again! The legends over at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival are doing their famous $24 tickets for 24 hours sale on every single show at the festival, including mine! Tickets here: http://bit.ly/JOELCREASEYMELB I love to start in the bargain bin... begin as you mean to go on I say! But seriously, you have 24 hours to hustle your mates, snap up some $24 tickets and come see me live. And the money you save you can spend on charity. Or cocktails before the show. Or if you pretend that I'm the charity well then you've done both! Winners are grinners! Follow the link in my bio for details. But move quick, this is super popular every year!
