25.01.2022 FYOOSH! This lovely, half-finished work was sent to me by Lynn Scott-Cummings as my second collaboration for #SICsDegrees. It has taken 3 weeks of consideration and self-doubt cycles for me to finally come up with a direction I like. I removed the collages from the paper they were affixed to and prepared another substrate (similar to the one I made for my first collaboration) to attach them to. I'm going to place them a bit further apart and, between them, I want a "wild bou...quet" of these graphic flowers structures I've come up with. I have been drawing the flowers for ages but I’ve added a funky, new grid texture for a fun, brand new flavour kick. So, I’ve basically revolutionised skills and ideas. Like and subscribe. And make sure to click the little bell to turn on notifications and a Diet Coke, please. SICs Degrees is a collaborative visual arts project curated by Daniel Qualischefski. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of such a special project. Thanks heaps to my collaborators, Lynn Scott-Cumming and Michael Pope @art_and_oddities. Thank-you to Rhi Johnson @artist_rhi for nominating me. Thanks to Daniel Qualischefski @danishquapoor and @townsvillecouncil for making... it all possible. 08.01.2022 Here is some of the behind the scenes maths and science for my latest invention. I didn’t finish it but I’m sending it over to my fellow scientific mathemagician, @art_and_oddities, so he can complete the calculations and add some stardust. The results are gonna be outta this world! Peace. SICs Degrees is a collaborative visual arts project curated by Daniel Qualischefski. 07.01.2022 Collaboration really does produce magic. This is the result of my work with @art_and_oddities, Michael Pope. It’s actually exhilarating to see how a collaborator finishes your work. My experience working with other artists has shown me that an artwork becomes so more than the sum of the artists involved and, to me, that is what SICs Degrees epitomises. I can’t wait to see how all the other collaborations turned out! SICs Degrees is a collaborative visual arts project curat...ed by Daniel Qualischefski.
