What a bloody amazing day this was with country vibes, a cracker sunset and heavy drinks flowing (Red breeezers from what I recall? Haha!) Tamika is an amazing photographer herself so it's safe to say it gets a bit bloody nervewracking shooting another photographers wedding day, but It's safe to say we smashed it!!!!... 15.01.2022 DAN & LOUISE | WINNER OF THE BEST TUNES AT A WEDDING! I've heard alot of good tunes at weddings, but the whole day basically had that New Order - Blue Monday vibe with alt/80's english rock being played literally all day and It was bloody perfect! I couldn't help but sing along to everything while my face was plastered behind my camera which made the day so much fun! I know Louise's old man was probably doing the same thing because we have an identical music taste and if i...t wasn't for Louise's sister calling my name to capture Louise getting into her dress we probably would have chatted all day about Ian Curtis & Kurt Cobain! Music is everything at a wedding. It gives your day a vibe or felling that can't really be created by anything else and i'd highly suggest playing songs that suit you and your partners personality over googling "popular wedding music" to make the day yours.

07.01.2022 G'day! Mates, I've been that bloody insane that I didn't even get a chance to write a quick FB Merry Christmas post, so here it is! Usually, I have something positive to say about the year because usually it's pretty good, but honestly, what a shittttyyyy freaking year it's been! I lost international weddings, Covid dramas, got so really bloody sick multiple times, had to postpone/cancel WAYYY too many weddings which causes dramas (I try to be a drama free so this hurt so muc...h!) and the list bloody goes on. Just when I was felt like I was getting to the level of happiness where I want to be (Doing a solid little mix of international and local weddings), this Covid drama happened. It got me feeling down for quiet a bit but what can you do... Ah well! Who cares! It's a new year soon! Let's focus on the positive stuff legends & give 2020 the middle finger! A huge shout out for my 2020 clients who had to change their wedding day/postpone and go through hell... I totally understand it wasn't easy for you guys and you've all been bloody troopers! Thanks for being so flexible with me and I hope my flexibility helped! And one last shout out to everyone who's wedding I did shoot in 2020! Even with the impact of covid, you guys absolutely smashed it and I probably got my best shots ever in 2020! I loved that with the smaller wedding guest amount due to the virus, it allowed you newlyweds to be super tight knit constantly with your closest loved ones and getting to capture those special moments was an absolute pleasure. We also had more time to roam the woods and adventure like these two in the photo, and I LOVE that sort of freedom when it comes to shooting, so maybe it wasn't all so bad! Have a beer for me over the holidays and I can't wait to meet you all on one of the biggest days of your lives in 2021!!! GET EXCITED!!! TLDR - The year sucked, people have been great, f&%k 2020. This year will actually be insane with almost double the amount of work as usual, so go easy on me...

06.01.2022 Mark & Natalie did something a little unique and I loved it! Instead of getting their wedding photos on their wedding day, we mixed it up, planned an adventure shoot on seperate day and ended up in a big, beautiful, moody forest in the Southern Highlands to create some epic moments! These little adventure shoots as I like to call them are so bloody perfect and are an epic idea if you're having a more relax or insane wedding day that just can't fit in/schedule a long photoshoo...t in on the day. The benefit of a wedding shoot on a day that isn't your wedding is that it's 100% stress free, rush free and we're in full control! On a wedding day, there's alot of things limiting shoots from time, light, how dirty you can get and the list goes on! On an adventure shoot, we can trash your suit and dress, plan for the perfect light, plan the perfect weather and the list goes on! Here's a sneak peak from M&N's adventure shoot!
