07.01.2022 Marking the 99th anniversary of the cease of hostilities of WW1, I have today replaced the nearly century old soldier at the Korong Vale war memorial. Made from Aussie marble and a lot of love. I hold a huge amount of respect for our soldiers. The men and women who serve now, have served in the past and those who have lost their lives. And all of their families. With many thanks to the Wedderburn/Korong Vale RSL and especially Wendy Stewart for her hard work to make this happen and her support over the journey. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
