13.01.2022 Big News and it’s a first for Joey & Gazza Duo !! We have written a fabulous mix of songs during the Covid lockdown of 2020 and named the Album Beautiful Words ... A bit about us ... Long time muso & singer/ songwriter Gary Young & singer/songwriter Jo Pearson have collaborated with our earthy, smooth and crisp vocals and harmonies. We have created a wonderful collection of new and exciting tunes. Our song writing and musical skills were blended together as we laid it all down with our acoustic guitars, then the album was carefully recorded & produced by the very capable hands of Steve Williams who also features on the album playing Lead Guitar, Saxophone, Harmonica, Wind Synth & Banjo. Gary is playing drums & Andy Scott plays both his Electric & Double Bass which grounds the whole album. 08.01.2022 We had such hoot at the Owl last night, the vibe was fabulous everyone enjoyed the Paella & Drinks and we enjoyed our sets of original tunes plus playing our great covers songs. I’ll put up some videos soon but here are some photos thanks to Anna Whittley & Lee Byrnes for taking them The end of the night saw my singers Folk Ave join us for a couple of fun songs at the end it was a fun Gig .. 05.01.2022 This will be our last performance for a while in Melbourne as Joey is moving to WA to be closer to her family It doesn’t mean Joey n Gazza are over, it’s just that we will take a break until Joey can come back to Melbourne later on in the year or maybe Gazza will visit and do a few gigs around Perth who knows but if you’d like to see us play together then book a table at the Owl ASAP it’s Paella night in the Courtyard drinks and coffee & cakes also available 98445124 A note from us we are very sad to be parted .. it’s been so much fun !! Just send me a msg and it will be on its way only $20 + Postage (bank transfer) we would love you to hear what happened to the songs when they were professionally recorded & produced by the fabulous Saxophonist & Harmonica player Steve Williams who played with the John Farnham band plus many other fabulous bands from around Austral...ia.
