25.01.2022 So cool to notice our bamboo cot sheets in the sale section of our website!! If I can be honest, white cot sheets are my go to colour, as they work so well in every nursery set up So it’s sweet to see our white and dark grey on sale at just $31.95 for flat or fitted, and $56 for the set. 25.01.2022 How did you find the ‘nesting time?’ I wasn’t sure it was a thing until I went through it with number one and am feeling it now with baby two! 20.01.2022 One of the cool things about our sheets is they are a generous fit and this makes for a very happy Mumma (especially when there are many cot sheet changes to be made And through the night as toilet training starts ...or a newborn after a feed.) Currently purchasing another @booriaustralia mattress for #2 and excited to use our J+P sheets... for easy changes and no tight corners (even if it’s a larger mattress.) 20.01.2022 7 weeks of loving you . . Incredible the difference in each little one; each being so uniquely individual. Being at that newborn stage in motherhood again ...with all of it’s late long nights, busy full days and seemingly endless cluster feeds. But through the tired haze I’m relishing it all; knowing the moments are fleeting and one day I will look and see him all grown up. 18.01.2022 Just wanted to talk motherhood for a moment. Over a year ago, this girl was my newborn baby. Everyone around me said to watch out for how quickly it all goes... they change incredibly quickly and so don’t blink or you’ll miss it. The first few months felt like a slow blur but then as we settled into parenthood... yes. It too happened. Our somewhat tiny baby was becoming a little girl. It started with tummy time and rolling and moved into crawling, walking and then running, si...nging, climbing up and down stairs, chatting, pretending to talk on the phone, making a mess (always has been good at this one ) and the list goes on... but more then this, she has been becoming her own little person. Someone who will go to kindy and primary school soon enough and then high school and then soon enough she will venture into what she was created to do. . . Now with Boston (my newborn baby) in tow; I’m trying even harder to seize all the moments for both of them! Trying to expand my memory banks and make sure that even if tired or it’s tough, that I don’t miss a moment of their development. Not one single one. That I’m as present as possible and always giving into these babies; who will be adults and running their own race before not to long. A bittersweet thought and reality but for now... I’ll try focus on the sweet . . Hope you’re having a beautiful morning and just leaving you with this question... are you finding your babies growing up so quickly before your eyes also?? 16.01.2022 We’ve been so delighted to launch our summer high season clothes as our very first range Being Aussie Mums, we’ve found the summer season can get a little toastie! So picking a fabric to work with, like linen was an easy choice. It keeps cool in summer but also warm when the weather cools (a little bit of a magical fabric!) Our linen we sourced from France because it was one of the finest ones we could find and it had so many colour choices available Being Mums ourse...lves, we also thought to have extra buttons on our overalls (kids grow quick right?!) Drawstrings on shorts. Adjustable shoulder straps on tops and generally fits that could be a little more generous (to further accomodate for growth whilst being trendy too.) We’ve been so grateful to share our range with our wonderful J+P community in the last little while, and thanks so much for the support so far. We look forward to bringing out more new products in future xx Nicolette

15.01.2022 Spending time with some beautiful Mums reminded me of the power of variance within each of our journeys. Before and throughout pregnancy; labour and then post birth. It’s incredible how varied every stage is and yet it’s all down to personal experience, no comparisons can be made. Motherhood and the process to becoming a Mum is something so precious but also seemingly solo and incomparable in that process. 15.01.2022 Thanks for giving us a little time to pause... big things happened during this break . . Firstly we have a brand new Joey + Pup addition to the team! Welcoming my newest little one... Boston Oliver who arrived on the 7th of Oct. We are so grateful for the new dynamic he brings to our little family. His older sister is so excited with her brothers arrival! .... . I’m looking forward to sharing more updates over the coming weeks as we have heaps of new products coming into our store! We’ve wanted to create a range of Linen bassinet and cot sheets and have started with a series of colours in French Linen that we can’t wait to extend in time. And we couldn’t pass up the possibility of French Linen being used on our baby/ kids clothes also. So this fine quality runs across all our new lines. We have new plans for swaddles too; so keep your eyes peeled on our website over the next few months. . . Lastly our postal service will resume as normal now. 12.01.2022 I was super excited using our J+P bamboo sheets for my little girl, she loves her cot and we expect her to be in there for at least another year (so good how cots can ‘transform’ a little these days and taking one side down makes it into a ‘big kids bed!’ (We haven’t done that yet though but soon enough.) 10.01.2022 We just want to say a big thank you for supporting us at Joey + Pup! Since we launched in March 2020, we have worked day and night to source and create the best products and offer kind, genuine service. Over the next few months we have some exciting products in the pipeline! ...Like French Linen cot, bassinet and summer clothes! (Such beautiful fabric!) So with some stunning products on the horizon and Nicolette expecting a new little one early October (or any day now!) we’ve... decided to take a little ‘pause’ before gearing up for summer 20/21. We may be offline for about 2 weeks but are still reachable by email or Insta DM and will respond as soon as we can. During this time you are more then welcome to place an order and use the code LittlePause to receive 15% off at the checkout. We are resuming postal orders on the 12th of October and will upgrade all domestic orders to Express Post. We take mental health seriously and care about being around for the long run. 10.01.2022 I seem to pack a swaddle everywhere we go these days finding they come in handy for so so many things! With a toddler and 4 month old in tow, there are an array of reasons to have one permanently in the nappy bag (or rolled up alongside the essentials into a small handbag.) Can be used as a light blanket, a swaddle, a nursing cloth, a nursing cover... the list could go on! xx Nicolette

09.01.2022 We caught up with our beautiful friend Amada from @birthattendantschool to chat about how amazing their birth attendants are; coming alongside local healthcare doctors and midwives in developing nations. We hoped to help also, through the provision of birthing kits. . . When Ivy and I started Joey + Pup, we wanted it to be much more then a beautiful business. We wished to reach women and especially have an impact beyond our Aussie shores. Birth in developing nations is far be...yond the support and medical assistance we receive in Australia and so understanding that often times women’s basic needs were not being met and the rate of women affected every day (830+ women die everyday from pregnancy and delivery related complications... that’s the equivalent of the capacity of two jumbo jets) so we knew there was a way we could help too. . . We gathered a basic birth kit with items like gauze, sterile blades, gloves, soap, a plastic sheet for the ground etc hoping they could help and then Covid impacted the globe and travel ceased and with it; our plans went on hold for distribution of birth kits. We had previously decided for every cot sheet and swaddle sold, a birth kit would go to a woman in need. In these current circumstances we are continuing to set aside birth kits with every sale; but will anticipate distribution to resume when borders open again in 2021. . . We love transparency and care about sharing our response to Covid and ensuring to uphold our giving goal. We are so grateful to join with people who come alongside local healthcare doctors, midwives and women during an incredibly vulnerable time. . . 06.01.2022 Amazing seeing the progress and changes in little ones . . My daughter started saying ‘hello’ yesterday and it’s quite extraordinary that when one milestone is reached; all the previous ones they have achieved, flash into your mind. Their individual journey is so precious and exciting to be a part of .... . I’ve been sorting and setting up a new nursery for bub two (due soon) and it’s got me thinking about all the newborn stages we are about to experience all over again ...but then also for the first time due to them being totally unique. . . Mummas did you find similarities with each new baby or they were entirely different in reaching milestones etc? And when preparing for a newborns arrival did you start your baby in a cot straight away or bassinet? (We have started in cots but interested to see what you do first?) . .
