25.01.2022 Reposted from @tales.of.the.taylors_ I SURVIVED | Cain returned to work a couple of weeks ago. However until I have been cleared to return to ‘normal’ after my c-section, we have kept Scarlett in her usual 4 days of daycare. Today was my first proper day at home with two by myself. I use the word ‘proper’ because I have had another day home with both, however S was unwell and we had a relatively easy movie day filled with lots of cuddles. Today however I was not easy. I am p...retty open that S is a mini me and extended periods of time without a mediator can be quite stressful haha. Today was no different. What started with a nice relaxing morning and an over-ambitious walk to the local cafe/park, ended in the last 500m of the walk home with me carrying a bike and comforting two screaming little ladies . However I did not let them defeat me . We got home, I started feeding the screaming newborn and then chatted it out with my emotional threenager. We all then had a cuddle/rest, when we woke up, I threw on my @joeybabywraps and the productivity started. Cain came home expecting to walk in to complete and utter chaos and was well prepared to order take out. Instead he was pleasantly surprised with a toddler who had already been showered and a wife in the kitchen making him Beef Ragu. All in all, it was a pretty successful day . I honestly did not know that I needed this wrap carrier in my life until I got it. I had a traditional velcro/buckle carrier with S and honestly can count on one hand how many times I actually used it. It was bulky, uncomfortable and I did not trust myself to put it on without help. This wrap on the other hand is the complete opposite and I am so thankful to have it on hand to help me master this ‘Mum of 2’ chapter.

21.01.2022 Its been a little while since we showed our faces so we thought we better pop on and say hi.. "Hi" We are Madison (right) and Georgia (left), sisters from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.... A few random insights into who we are: - We have been mistaken for twins MANY times (although personally I dont see it...) - We live super close to one another. We speak multiple times a day. Every day - We love raw, honest motherhood - We are both stay at home mums with 3 little girlies between us - We LOVE coffee (AM) and wine (PM) - We would never turn down chocolate - Madison enjoyed spending her maternity leave payments on clothes (that coincidentally she has never worn out due to covid) - The highlight of Georgias week is having an undisturbed shower Now you know some more about us, its your turn, tell us a little about yourselves?

19.01.2022 As mums, I personally think, we value convenience above most other things, am I right ladies? Our wraps are EXTREMELY convenient in many ways. Let me explain 1. They are SIMPLE ... I know there may be a few people out there that worry these wraps are hard or confusing. But trust me! They are as easy as tying your shoe laces (in my opinion way easier to put on alone than a carrier that buckles behind your shoulders!) 2. They are easy to CLEAN! Washing machine, cold/gentle cycle - done! 3. Babies LOVE them! They are reminicent of the womb which means little ones absolutely adore them! Which means they will sleep while you can get stuff done! 4. They fold up super SMALL! This is a big one! We all know that when you become a mum, your bag is literally bursting at the seams! 18.01.2022 I bet you didn't know this about wrap carriers! When we were at Emu Plains Market on Saturday we had lots of discussions with lovely mums-to-be. One thing that we noticed was that NONE of them knew that wrap carriers are made to mimic the womb! Honestly, this is one of the best things about them!... Its been interesting! We arent going to lie. Living in Melbourne at the moment is hard. Really hard... We have been in stage 4 lockdown for what feels like forever. We miss our family. We miss our friends. We miss our children spending time with their grandparents. 13.01.2022 We NEED your help! As many of you would have heard, today it was announced that the stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne will be extended until September 28th. This was a tough blow, but during these times its important to try and remain positive. Our new range of wraps are due to arrive late Sep/early Oct. We had planned to photograph them as soon as they arrived, (we have exciting things coming up and require them to be ready to launch ASAP!) Unfortunately for us, this ma...y no longer be possible. 10.01.2022 I remember the first time I tried on my first stretchy wrap carrier. I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed but determined. I remember watching the how to video, pausing it multiple times to make sure I didn't miss a step.... I remember popping my baby in and thinking "we good?? Is this right?" But most of all, I remember the feeling that came after. I felt myself again. I felt like "I had this mum thing down". We had multiple tradies at our house at that time (renovations with a newborn = awful idea in hindsight) and I distinctly remember feeling so proud of myself like I looked like motherhood was a breeze (sidenote, it most definitely was not, the adjustment to motherhood was massive for me). We've often heard that wrap carriers are harder to learn, which we can understand - there is a slight learning curve. HOWEVER neither of us believe they are harder. Doing a buckle carrier up on your own is HARD! Georgia has genuinely pulled a muscle in a shopping centre car park (not ideal )... 02.01.2022 Was this true for you I remember hearing when my first daughter was born that she looked SO much like her dad because of evolution Apparently, a long long time ago it was a way of confirming paternity. Folklore or not I don't know. But it was 100% true for her. She was I-DEN-TI-CAL to her father To the point that one sleep deprived night I saw his side profile next to me in bed and I genuinely thought he was her ... It was also true for Madison! Matilda came out looking exactly like her dad too kids hey? So, we want to know... Was this also true for you and your little one?

02.01.2022 The "why" behind starting our business. I distinctly remember the first time I wore my precious little baby in a wrap carrier. I was sleep deprived. I was drowning in washing.... I couldnt remember the last time I had washed a dish. More importantly I couldnt remember the last time Id enjoyed a hot coffee! We had some tradies at our house (yay for renovations immediately after having a baby) I thought it was the perfect time to try the wrap out After muddling my way through popping it on while she cried on the couch (tip: practice with a happy baby!) I happily wore her for hours! She slept, I cleaned, coffee was consumed!Such an incredible moment for me, I finally felt like I had the mum thing down. I felt empowered.
