22.01.2022 An arrangement of a classic Taiwanese tune! ‘The Moon Represents My Heart’ () by Teresa Teng. I grew up hearing this song a lot, be it in my parents’ cars, played in the house, or sung at Eng family annual karaoke nights. Seeing as the melody was ingrained into my DNA, it only felt natural to improvise around with it on the marimba! 11.01.2022 Bit of an update! A few weeks ago I was part of a livestream WAAPA show at the Rechabite Hall, where I premiered a duo percussion work composed with Steven Hartley. The video to the full livestream can be found on the WAAPA Facebook page! Also... This morning, I performed at the opening of Uniqlo Karrinyup with friends Gabrielle Lee and Pavan Hari. Was super fun having a live audience again after so many months!!!
