23.01.2022 Rain, rain go away! School will be operational tomorrow but please consider your family's safety if you need to travel through water to get to school. Rainwear would be helpful to keep students dry while travelling to and from school as we don't need wet students in class. Stay safe and dry everyone!

22.01.2022 The local SES have shared some tips for families to plan for their safety..... Christmas break is coming up fast and NSW SES is urging all Northern Rivers families to Get Ready and prepare for the possibility of unsettled weather in the coming months ahead. The Bureau of Meteorology have advised that Australia is officially in a La Nina phase which means we will see an increase in the number of storms, a higher chance of cyclones, tropical low pressures systems and an inc...rease in rainfall events that may lead to floods in the Northern Rivers area. While we can’t stop mother nature, we can prepare our homes and families in case a severe weather event impacts our area. Please follow these 5 simple steps that will help your family to Get Ready. How to Prepare for Disasters 1. Know your risk Connect with NSW Emergency services Think about the area you live in and the types of disasters that could affect you Ask your local emergency service or Council Ask your neighbours 2. Plan now for what you'll do Have a Plan!!! Sit down and talk with your family and plan for what you will do if a disaster affects your area. Talk about: When to leave What to take Where to meet up if you get separated What to do with your animals Practise this plan A few times a year, set a date to practice packing up quickly as if to evacuate. 3. Get your home ready Prepare your home By doing general home maintenance Trim trees and branches Check gutters are clean, and roof is in good repair Secure any outdoor items Check your insurance 4. Be aware Keep informed Find out how to prepare and what to do if there is a disaster in your area. Connect with emergency services and stay informed (e.g. via websites, apps and social media) 5. Look out for each other. Share information With your family, friends, neighbours and those who may need assistance For more information visit NSW SES website www.ses.nsw.gov.au See more

15.01.2022 Today we received updated Covid advice from the Catholic Schools Office, due to the outbreak in Brisbane and the close contacts in Byron Bay. You have visited any suburb in Brisbane City Council and Moreton Bay Regional Council areas. We appreciate all our families following this advice.... If you do need to isolate please email school to advise and we will sort blended learning for your child. All negative tests also need to be emailed to school. [email protected]. Thank you See more
