03.01.2022 International AAC Awareness Month is celebrated around the world each October. AAC stands for "Augmentative and Alternative Communication". What's that? ... It's a term used to describe the many communication methods which support or replace speech. It is used to help a person express themselves or understand others when their speech skills are developing or when they have difficulties using speech.
