18.01.2022 To the heroes of the animal rights movement who like to write to me and tell me I should've done more. To those of you who comment on my images to tell me I sho...uld have saved all the chickens, should have put the cow in my car and should have rescued all the pigs in the shed - you know what you can do? You can go to hell. All of you! All of you who write these disgusting comments on photographers photos of animals suffering, you need to pull your heads in. We are taking photos THAT YOU USE to help you get YOUR MESSAGE across to other people. The photos that YOU USE to help you speak up for animals. I cannot describe to you the absolute emotional trauma that stays with you from walking away from animals who ask you to help them, those moments personally stay with me forever. I remember every one of those moments and I remember every single animal who has asked me for help and I couldn't help. Instead of adding to the huge emotional trauma that animal agriculture photographers need to work through, perhaps you could go out there and fit 200 dairy cows in to your sedan yourself. Go! Go be the hero. I'll be waiting here to tell you that you just didn't do enough.

10.01.2022 Because the milk meant for him has to go to greedy humans who don’t need it .......

04.01.2022 If there was such a thing as humane meat, I probably would not have gone vegan. But there is NO such thing as humane meat. Meat, eggs and dairy are slavery AND ...murder. Animals do NOT "give" eggs and milk, wool and leather to us willingly. They are forced. They do NOT die for us willingly either. They plead and fight for their lives until the bitter end! Please stop supporting the vile meat, egg and dairy industries and GO VEGAN. Art by me

02.01.2022 This may be Van Gogh’s last masterpiece. The painting first appears to be a jumble of bright colors and whimsical, abstract shapes. But then you see that it represents a slope with tree trunks and roots. They are coppice trees on top of a marl quarry, such as those around Auvers. The work is not completely finished which explains the unfinished character. Only very recently in 2012, scientists discovered through a letter from Andries Bonger to Vincents brother Theo, that ...Tree Roots was Van Gogh's last work. In that letter he says, "The morning before his death he painted a forest scene full of sun and life." But looking at the painting, you can feel the entanglement and captivity that Van Gogh must have experienced. It is as if the tree roots were snakes of negative thoughts that took over his head. That which eventually drove him to fire the gun into his own chest. Title: Tree-roots Creator: Vincent Van Gogh Date created: July 1890 - 1890 Location created: Auvers, France Source: Vincent Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam
