14.01.2022 Well Fynn is in stick heaven....

12.01.2022 Looking bare, but it’s progress!! This is essentially the aim for Mountain View before spring. All the vines have been cut back. The suckers (if any) are currently being carefully selected and trained to up to the new wire. When spring comes we train the new growth along the wire and shape the vines of the future! No fruit next year, but hopefully a small crop the year after.

02.01.2022 Have you met Fynn ?

01.01.2022 Pruning in full swing! This year is a bit different with only about 25% of the vines being pruned normally- we are retraining some from Glenburnie as part of a 2 year program, and as for Mountain View, that will all be retrained from suckers due to the fires. For us this means less sore arms but more sore legs (so many squats involved in re-training)!
