02.01.2022 Writing has been one of the most challenging modules to get a high band score, whether it is a 7+ in IELTS or an 8+ in PTE. What makes it a tedious task is a grammatically correct sentence in Writing, especially in IELTS, does NOT mean a 7+. Most students end up getting a 6 or 6.5 band-score, despite composing an almost error-free sequence of sentences. This week, in all my sessions (PTE or IELTS) for 20 minutes, I will be working on helping students identify not only the ch...aracteristics of a grammatically correct but still low-scoring sentence and but also assisting them to construct a naturally flowing high-scoring sentence.
