22.01.2022 Just about finished the Cosgrove house in River St, Got my new uniforms back from Robbo Hockey with the new embroidery on them. Will be testing them out next week.

12.01.2022 Also Travelled to Chinchilla with Mr Maiore last Wednesday to attend a test and tag course. So am now the proud owner of a white card and a test and tag card. Things are getting big now at JBP :)

12.01.2022 John Birkett Plumbing would like to welcome two new employees. Tom Kennedy has just signed on as a School based Apprentice, after working with us 1 day a week for the last year. He will be a full time Apprentice next year. Also Greg Hamilton has started with us on a part time basis to help run our new business venture. ... Both of these young men will be an asset to our Team.

11.01.2022 Our business has been very busy over the last month, since the floods. We've plumbed 8 temp houses for QBuild, as well as renovations & repairs on over 20 govt houses. We also doing flood repair & renovations for Ambrose Insurance jobs, 4 houses on the go at the moment. I've got one Sub Contractor working with me at the moment & have got another 2 starting on Monday to the drainage & water on 3 duplex transportable homes at the Hospital. All this as well as the local jobs, Last week we finished the Bakery renovations & fitted gas stoves at "Well Gully" & "Possesion Creek".

06.01.2022 Worked on 3 storm water lines at Mitchell State School, in preparation for the new Library. Off to Bymount School for a rough in & replace a toilet in Roma for Q Build. Work coming in well at the moment.

01.01.2022 It's been a whe since I last updated this page & a lot has happened. The workload hasn't slowed down & we've added to our workforce. In addition to Graeme "Matchie" Light, whose been working with us since February, we now have a young Irish backpacker Robert "Bob" Kelly, a Plumber from Dublin, who has been with us for about 6 weeks. I have finally have my new work vehicle, a Ford Ranger Extra Cab, that I'm very happy with. Then last week I got a new work trailer which was a... godsend, as the old one was on the way out. The old Courier got some running repairs to keep it on the go for Bob. I've lost count on how many houses we have worked on in Mitchell & now I've got 14 Q Build houses in Roma that I quoted on at the start of the floods. Work doesn't seem to be slowing up, which is good news. See more
