24.01.2022 I will out be of action for a couple of days as this morning (for 5 hours) I undergo the first of many procedures to replace my upper & lower teeth - removed (a...long with my lower jaw) during that 12 hour operation almost 11 months ago. While Ian (my reconstructive dentist) is weaving his magic, my plastic surgeon (Frank) will be working on tidying up my skin graft and the scars on my neck where my lymph nodes had to be removed. The best part about all of this? I'll be anaesthetised and (hopefully) won't feel a thing! See you on the other side. Love - Blackers xx

Blackers said he would be the Invisible Man to be able to sneak into the movies for free. 19.01.2022 Finally, four months after 12 hours of life-saving surgery to remove my lower jaw, all my teeth, a couple of lymph nodes, and 40 sessions of radiography, I have... received a much awaited call from a Special Needs Dentist Associate Professor to discuss the dental reconstruction process - the final lengthy stage of this unexpected pot hole in our lives. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome - Cecile more excited than me!!! See more
