24.01.2022 My second ISO wedding ceremony. Today at Carlton Gardens, the lovely low key wedding of Suryanata and Stefany. Very happy, smiley occasion, even when oopsy, Suryanata realises left the rings in the car Pause the ceremony and everything went perfectly from there. Even the cute dog was happy. Congratulations to you both, and the dog.

24.01.2022 My first wedding at the wonderful Flowerdale Estate in Strath Creek. Victoria and Chris, married in February 2019. What a stunning venue, beautiful bride and another groom that scrubs up far too well! 007. Im glad we sat for the photos. I do hope the tomato sauce was used to the utmost. Thanks to Peter from @aaoc equipment hire for the great PA and to Maria and staff at Flowerdale Estate for their assistance and friendly nature.

23.01.2022 Thanks to the wonderful Denise and Rhian for making the wedding of Hisae and Jarrod so special. Avalon Castle, a marvellous venue. A lovely mixture of Japanese and Aussie culture, loads of smiles, laughter and some tears when I surprised the couple with a haiku. Congratulations to Hisaes Father for reading it in Japanese, I couldnt possibly have done that. Arigato.

22.01.2022 And while at Ballara Receptions, I was fortunate enough to bump into another wonderful couple I married a few years ago, Gaby and Vishal. It was great to see you both even without in tow. Shame about Spurs Vish.

21.01.2022 I used to play in the resident band here many moons ago. My first visit as a Celebrant though, after 11 years, go figure. Ballara Receptions, Eltham for the fun wedding of Yeh Chen and Hao-Wen, May 2019. It was a great day, lots of smiles and laughter and Hao-Wen swears he told Yeh Chen how beautiful she was. Now, I didnt hear it but Im sure he did. Or else! Harvard from Photographs by Harvard Wang was a total hoot taking the shots - great sense of humour and what a posh ...name. Thanks to Jen at Ballara Receptions for making me feel welcome after all these years. See more

20.01.2022 This wedding was all about cricket! Sue and Jeff, met at cricket, cricket scorers and lovely couple. Married at @Wattle Park Chalet, April 2019. Great original reading created by Jeff, marrying love and cricket. Of course. Jointly read, great fun, congratulations Jeff. Thanks for the photos and the lovely words post the wedding Sue and Jeff. Hello John... I must first begin with an apology- I thought I had been in touch with you in the days following our wedding but having just been through my messages it appears I did not. For this I am most sorry. I would like to thank you so very much, on behalf of Sue and myself, for the wonderful job you did performing our ceremony at Wattle Park Chalet on April 6th. From our very first meeting right up to the day itself you made us feel both comfortable and special and made us very much at ease and the whole ceremony ( except for those darn candles that someone had already lit) went so smoothly. We have had so much positive feedback about how relaxed and enjoyable and moving the day was from our guests and for that you can take a great deal of the credit- although it did appear you managed to work my words into there quite a bit, so it was slightly embarrassing on my part! Also the way you interacted with Ray for the reading with no chance to really rehearse was lovely and quite memorable. The good news is that two months down the track we are still married- although STILL to receive our official certificate! Once again, thank you for being a part of our special day- we really appreciate all of the work you put into getting the ceremony just right for us and the time you spent making sure that we would be happy with the result. So sorry that I overlooked thanking you earlier- I hope you enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did! Fond regards Jeff and Sue See more

20.01.2022 Tell you what, some force is speeding the clock up! 6 years ago. Seems like last year.

20.01.2022 My first wedding at the beautiful Forest Glade Gardens, Mt. Macedon, January 2020. Natasha and James with many familiar faces. That archway is great. ZZ Top for an entrance song? Who would have thought? Great day, congratulations to you both.

19.01.2022 March 2019, a lovely sunny day at Scrub Hill 1869 in Newlyn, between Ballarat and Daylesford. This is a great venue, different and chosen as their special wedding venue by Alannah and Jacob. Lots of smiles, surprises, readings from overseas, dogs bringing the rings and an awesome teepee set up for the reception. Alannah and Jacob, you both surprised one another, very romantic and Jacobs vows brought lots of laughter. I proclaim them to be great. Thanks to Amanda and Peter The Hitched Collective for taking the photos. Awesome as always.

18.01.2022 Lovely words from Renae who married Josh at Tatra Receptions last week. Bit chilly but lots of warmth inside the chapel along with smiles and laughter. Congrats Pumbaa and Timon. Photos to follow.

18.01.2022 Something a bit different. Yesterday I did my first wedding at the prestigious and totally stunning Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Black Rock. I didnt think theyd let me in. Wonderful bridal couple but Ill wait to post photos of them until they have posted themselves. However, this a photo of three fathers together as requested by the father of the bride. He was really impressed with my Swahili. Glad I practiced.

18.01.2022 Just when you think youve done weddings everywhere surely?? I was delighted to officiate at my first wedding at Oakridge Wines in Coldstream. Azu and Mas, October 2019, it was too wet to be outside, so we moved inside the wine barrel room. Lovely aroma! Great wedding Azu and Mas, lots of smiles and laughter. Hardly a mention of soccer. ... According to the guests, my Japanese was good. Loved it. And Fio/Marine turned up too. Thanks Stacey at Oakridge Wines for making me feel welcome at the rehearsal and the wedding day. OnThree Photography & Cinematic did wonderful work getting the shots in and out. See more

17.01.2022 A lovely venue, a lovely venue for a lovely couple. RVMYC - Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club, Williamstown , March 2019, Ana and Steve. Quite warm but windy and the rain stayed away. Just. Even Chilli the poodle made a surprise appearance which was nice. The vows were great and humorous. The question is will there be many more shoes purchased? I wonder. Lovely touch at the end with Ana displaying a traditional Peruvian costume. Congratulations to you both, enjoy the ceviche. Thanks Bill for the introduction and to Weddings by Ruth (Wedding Photography) for being so engaging.

11.01.2022 Quite a warm day at Werribee Historic Mansion for the wedding of Jessica and Eujoon, March 2020. A simply stunning entrance by the little flower girl and page boy almost stole the show. Thankfully Jessica woke up in time to get there and Eujoon was at his normal, cool, charismatic best. Thanks Sheena for being so engaging again and also to Lana, even if she didnt give me a ride on the buggy.

Super vows written by Kaitlin and Matt, plenty of smiles and laughter. Shame that Ollie couldnt make it. Matt was a bit nervous early but soon settled when Kaitlin arrived. Thanks to Tahlia at Wilson Botanic Garden for being so helpful and engaging, even loading my PA on to a trolley and pulling it up the hill. And thanks to the wonderful Crystal from Crystal Linter Weddings for taking the shots. Lovely lady.

Ms personality Julie du Plessis was a ball of fun while doing the photographs. James Macaulay provided a wonderful operatic prelude to the ceremony, in Latin of course. 02.01.2022 Another marvellous wedding at Tatra Receptions, Mt. Dandenong, November 2019. Angel and Ondre, quite nervous on the day but it all went really well. I even learned how to pronounce Maori correctly, not like Google! Angel and Ondre now hold the record for the least number of words spoken by a bridal couple. But they did smile a lot. ... Congratulations lovebirds. And thanks Ashley for being such a great support. See more
