25.01.2022 ALBURY GOLD CUP CARNIVAL DAY 2 After an anxious wait, we found out midday yesterday, that our big boy Jimmy (The Doctors Son) had got his spot in the Albury Gold Cup.... Race 7 over 2,000m at 4.50pm, carrying jockey Ellen Hennessy. The team, plus most of his owners, who have travelled here from all over, will be cheering him on today. 15.01.2022 A great big Happy Birthday to the old fella. It’s been a big year with lots of thrills & adventures. This years also marks Johns retirement from his 36 year career in the Social Work field. Much credit goes to John for the great work & achievement throughout those years. Now for his real passion. 8 years ago he ventured back into the world of training race horses. Something he truely loves. And after watching The Everest on Saturday, & seeing the winning 84 year old trainer, I reckon it’ll keep him aiming for one more winner for a while yet. Go John! We know you’re a dreamer but all that hard work does pay off. What fun.

15.01.2022 We’re very excited to be saddling up the Doctor’s Son today for the Navigate Advisors Wagga Wagga Gold Cup (2000m). Race 7 at 4.20pm jockey: Michael Heagney. It’s his first start at this distance but he’s looking tip top and with the wet track and a few scratchings we think he’s in with a chance. Good luck to everyone involved.
