20.01.2022 When every sign points to a shortage of vital skills, cutting courses from TAFE is nothing short of economic sabotage.

17.01.2022 "To say I'll miss John Kaye is an understatement, but we must go on. The best way to honour and remember John Kaye is to keep doing what he was doing." It was an honour to speak to the condolence motion for my colleague and dear friend Dr John Kaye in parliament yesterday. Farewell, Dr K.

10.01.2022 "Australian Education Union federal president Correna Haythorpe said the government's announcement was a "quick fix designed to get the Coalition through an election campaign" and would leave schools more than $3 billion short of the full needs-based Gonski funding." #gonski #publiceducation

06.01.2022 We share this short video to mark the anniversary of the death of our much loved comrade and member, John Kaye - we miss you more than ever.

04.01.2022 Those of us who worked for John had front-row seats to John's boundless energy, tireless passion, acerbic wit and righteous anger. His loss is devastating to us, and to our movement. John's commitment to education - public schools, TAFE - his passion and inconceivable knowledge of renewable energy, his endless capacity for taking the concerns of the community and bringing them before this Parliament, bespoke a man who in all things put others before himself. Vale, John Kaye. We will carry on your campaigns and do justice to your fight. Most of all, we will miss you.
