25.01.2022 Construction has begun on the $37.5 million extension of the wild dog fence that runs along the NSW and Queensland/South Australian borders, a key election commitment of the NSW Government. Once complete, the NSW Border Wild Dog Fence will have more than doubled in length to 1,325 kilometres, making it the longest in the world and a titanic tool in the fight against pests and predators. Wild dogs are a plague on primary producers and their local communities, particularly in ...the state’s far west, causing more than $22 million in damages and lost production in NSW every year. For further information on the project, visit www.lls.nsw.gov.au. #nswpol Adam Marshall MP

21.01.2022 Great news for wine lovers and growers of our state with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the NSW Government and the NSW Wine Association. The agreement, signed at Bill and Vicki’s Leogate Estate Wines in Pokolbin in front of wine industry leaders who were meeting with a visiting Trade Mission from European Union nations, will deliver a range of support measures and commitments with an equivalent value of more than $3 million through to June 2023. I... believe that NSW wine is the best in the world and this agreement will see our Government and the industry working together to identify initiatives that will help our product achieve even greater success both here in NSW and overseas. Only a Coalition Government will allow industries like mining, agriculture, viticulture and horse studs to continue to coexist harmoniously in the Upper Hunter as they have for decades.

21.01.2022 Earlier this week I took the opportunity to congratulate Monaro local, Andrew Rolfe, who was named as one of four 2021 Nuffield Australia Farming Scholars. 20.01.2022 Restrictions on the NSW/Victorian border will be eased from today to allow residents to move freely within the border region. The border bubble will also be expanded to include some areas around Pleasant Hills, Lockhart, Benalla, Bright and Mount Beauty. Any person with an existing border region permit will be able to take advantage of these changes, which we hope will make day to day life a lot easier for our border communities.... While we are not back to where we once were, these changes mean people can get back to business and reunite with families and friends. #nswpol

19.01.2022 I'm very excited to share that the new primary school being planned for Googong will be delivered as part of the NSW Government's job creation stimulus package. I'm proud the NSW Nationals are continuing our record of investing in regional education, while providing a much-needed economic boost during these challenging times. The next steps for the new school include the development of design, planning approval, and tenders for builders and delivery phase consultants, which... will begin before the end of the year. 19.01.2022 Every time an election or by-election rolls around Labor and a rabble of protest parties rock up into country communities and claim to represent regional NSW. The Upper Hunter by-election is no different. Labor have preselected a local with mining links, and claims that person will return Labor to its base. But if elected they’d be yelling at a wall of their Labor colleagues. Look at Labor MPs demanding the end of coal. They’ll sell out Muswellbrook in a heartbeat if Marrickv...ille screams loud enough. And then there are the Shooters... They claim they’ll put the bush first. But this party votes with Labor more than even the Greens. They are Pauline Hanson in the bush and Sarah Hanson-Young in Macquarie St. The National Party is different. We are a party of geography, not ideology. We live and work in the regions. We know the industries that underpin our communities and we know the investment that is needed to ensure our children’s children can have the same opportunities as their city cousins. It’s the Nationals that can form a coalition with our Liberal Party colleagues but still ensure we are the Praetorian Guard for common sense. The other parties - well, they are just imitators.

18.01.2022 This afternoon NSW Nationals candidate for the Upper Hunter Dave Layzell and I met with Greyhound Racing New South Wales and members of the Muswellbrook Greyhound Racing Club to discuss the importance of the club to the local community and the steps required to enable the track to host TAB meetings in the future.

18.01.2022 These song lyrics say it all. Miss you heaps dad, especially today. Thank you for being my Dad A son rarely tells his Father... How he really feels A handshake or a pat on the back is all that he reveals Thank you for shaping my life Thank you for teaching me all you can You are no ordinary man, no no You make me everything I am Thank you for taking the time Thank you for showing me the way And thank you for being there when I need you most Thank you for every single day Now I've been blessed with kids of my own Got my own bedtime stories to tell If I can raise him half as well as you raised me Guess I'll be doing pretty well Thank you for your guiding hand Thank you for making my dreams come true You're an extraordinary man And I hope you're as proud of me, As I am proud of you Thank you for giving me life Thank you for showing me good from bad I guess I'm only really trying to say Thank you for being my Dad Even though the years drift away and rarely ever took the time to say 'I love you, and I always have And thank you for being my Dad' 'Thank you for being my Dad'

This will be the biggest road infrastructure project in Singleton’s history. We’ve heard from the community that they want a full interchange at Putty Road... to make it easier to access the Singleton town centre from the bypass and that’s what we will deliver. Today I can also announce that as we work towards a concept design for the Muswellbrook bypass, the NSW Government will commit to include connections to Coal Road and work with Council to identify local road upgrades to support that connection. Construction of the Singleton and Muswellbrook bypasses is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs for the region. Singleton Council Muswellbrook Shire Council

13.01.2022 Cooma, Bombala, Nimmitabel and Delegate Showgrounds will all soon undergo major upgrades, thanks to the latest round of the NSW Government’s COVID-19 stimulus program. 10.01.2022 It was great to see so many people in the community provide their feedback on the new high school for Bungendore, through both the online survey and at the recent engagement hub. I’m really excited about this project and based on the feedback we have received so far it is clear that the community is too. Sustainable design, technology, easy accessibility and shared spaces with the community were the key preferences raised by the community and we will take that on board as we move ahead with this exciting project. I understand that for some, the chosen location came as a surprise, but what we will be delivering is really unique. We will be creating an education precinct, which will benefit generations to come. I believe this is a great site. I’m excited to be getting on with delivering this new high school.
