If your external doors are locked, your family cannot escape until you locate the keys to unlock the deadbolts. This can be quite difficult if your house is filled with smoke and you are in a panic. Luckily, Lockwood have released the new 005 Paradigm deadbolt. This new technology allows you to snib closed the bolt when you are at home and can be easily unlocked with the flick of the wrist. Upon leaving your home, you can deadlock the bolt, requiring a key to unlock the bolt from both sides of the door, thus complying with insurance guidelines. The green and red indicator on the inside snib alerts you as to whether the lock is snibbed or deadlocked.
