12.01.2022 Today Blackmagic Design released the Video Assist 3.2.2 update which fixes an occasional issue on Video Assist 12G HDR models where metadata would become out of sync with video frames when recording Blackmagic RAW. In addition, HDR color space selection on HDMI inputs has been improved so the selection of Rec. 2020 or Rec. 709 color spaces is more accurate, resulting in better color representation in post production. This update also corrects LCD display color bias that may have resulted in a slightly red color tinge on some Video Assist 5 12G HDR models. The camera is strongly mounted to the cage using a 1/4-20 screw and an Allen key. The cage is designed with the following mounting options: (1) cold shoe, several 1/4-20 threaded holes and (7) 3/8"-16 threaded holes with anti-rotating Arri hole patterns.
