20.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart and a lot of sleepless nights that we announce the end of our butchering days. We, as an entire family, have spent a considerable amount of time weighing up all of our options. As a family with numerous and different demands we had to decide if we should jump into the deep end (and with that comes more debt) therefore requiring more time and energy OR pull back and focus on our plumbing business and the last few years of our boys being at home. I...t has not been an easy decision as we have met some amazing people along the way and we can adoringly say, our customers have become our friends. We would like to do it all but to ensure longevity of life, something has to give. With this in mind, we have decided to close our stall at Rusty’s. 05.01.2022 Appreciation Post: Here is the JohnBull crew with the butchers from Malanda Meat Co. Today they joined us for another early Sunday morning start, slicing and dicing our organic beef. However, today was different, today was bitter sweet! Sweet because as a family we’ll have our weekends back. Bitter because this is the last time the awesome butchers at Malanda Meat Co will be processing our beef. Over the last two and a half years we’ve learnt so much, met some amazing peopl...e and had many a laugh with the many butchers we’ve been lucky enough to share our Sunday with. Thank you to Malanda Meat Co and their talented butchers and apprentices who have catered to our every need. Thank you to our JohnBull junior boys who haven’t missed a processing day and who have woken up way too early to spend over 8 hours in the butcher shop. Thank you to Shane Beattie from Sunnyville Pork for partnering us at our Rusty’s stall and helping us get our beef onto family dinner tables. And lastly, thank you to our JohnBull Farming customers. Some of our customers have been with us from day dot, buying in bulk and restocking every 6 months or so. Some of our customers come and visit our Rusty’s stall every single Saturday.
