24.01.2022 Are you interested in a Tiny Home on Wheels or Office on Wheels? We have developed a three step process to assist with converting your dreams into reality. The steps are:... 1. Preliminary Design We produce 2D plans elevations and cross-sections as well as 3D visualisations of your design based on your brief of requirements. 2. Construction documentation From your design concept we produce a technical information package to be used by your builder for pricing and construction. 3. Contract negotiation We are not builders, but we do help you to find the right one by obtaining proposals from several builders on your behalf, assisting you to evaluate which is best for you and helping with finalising the contract for your build. Find out more: Email us at [email protected] with a brief description of your project goals and a daytime phone number. We will get back to you by phone the next business day to discuss your project and answer your questions. Our preferred modes of contact are telephone and email. Face to face meetings are possible if you are located in Southeast Queensland. Until the Covid-19 risks are eliminated our preference is to minimise the need for physical meetings.
18.01.2022 Here are a few images of one of my favourite projects, the Leisure Centre at Beach Road Holiday Homes on Noosa North Shore. This is the project featured as our cover image. Such work is never done in isolation. I would like to acknowledge Scott Burrows for the stunning images, Hutchinson Builders Sunshine Coast for the splendid execution of the build, Scott Taylor of Terrain for the landscape design, Marie-Elizabeth Lewis for the interiors and our client Petrac for having the vision to create such a project.
11.01.2022 Meet "The Gypsy" a compact THOW perfect for tight locations.
05.01.2022 A sample of our interior architecture - medical consulting rooms at Wickham Terrace in Brisbane. Thanks again to Scott Burrows for the images. Thanks also to Chapman Builders for the craftsmanship and Marie-Elizabeth Lewis for the design collaboration.
01.01.2022 Here's an update to our Weekender Tiny Home on Wheels with a trailer deck instead of a site-built addition. A trailer deck is a superior option for those who are likely to move their THOW fairly frequently. It is much less time consuming than disassembling a site-built structure to prepare for a move. The retractable awning might be able to remain attached provided the total width of the trailer does not exceed 2.5m. If not, a few screws removed will allow it to be stowed inside for transport. The (optional) gutters shown on this design will need to be removed before towing on the road because they exceed the maximum allowable width, but as they are straight runs clipped on, it is not a difficult process.
