25.01.2022 Hello everyone. I recently attended the Mountaingrass festival at Harrietville, VIC. I was pleased with the interest in my instruments I took to the show. My display was in prime position with plenty of shade and chairs allowing everyone to drop by - with jam sessions all weekend - looking forward to heading back again next year. Still busy building orders and stocking up for the National Folk Festival next Easter. I'm planning to post an album of a recent OM guitar build that I just finished - Watch this space! 21.01.2022 A nice image taken Friday night at my son's gig at King O'Malley's in Canberra. This is a P Bass I made for him about 8 years ago using a nice piece of fiddleback Tasmanian Blackwood - pickguard or no pickguard, it was a tough call to make!

18.01.2022 Here's the latest guitar I have built. This custom OM Cutaway built for Phil E. Blackwood back and sides, Adirondack top, curly maple binding, abalone rosette. I am impressed with how this guitar turned out.

12.01.2022 Hi All, this is my new page for my instruments. Thought I had better do it before the NFF this weekend, hopefully I can get a few 'likes' up. Looking forward to the National, I will be in the Instrument makers section in the Quokka Pavillion from this Thursday. Please come and say g'day!

09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I have been a bit slack since my last post before NFF. I had a successful time at the National, caught up with some friendly faces and met some great people, especially received plenty of good feedback of my instruments. Last month was my first trip to Redlands Bluegrass Festival, I took up 3 mandos, 1 reso and 1 guitar - will def be back next year. Im currently building another OM Guitar in rosewood on order. Currently I have 3 F5 mandos, 1 reso and 1 dreadnaught in stock. I hope to make these posts more frequent now that Im getting my head around this Facetube. Cheers. John.
