22.01.2022 An interesting article on the Russian occupation of Afghanistan from indie journalism site A Good Brief

21.01.2022 Id like to point out something in this article, a reason why I think it is treating the Australian people as silly. Three lines from the bottom it says: Defence said it had engaged a commercial service provider for the movement of the Drethainer modules which were awaiting border clearance.... "This contract requires the ADF to absorb additional costs, such as customs fees, it said. I have not had the chance to look into this further but this sentence tells me that the Australian military is paying the customs cost imposed on a third party transporter, not that the Australian military is being directly taxed. I think there is a big difference.

19.01.2022 This is a park in the middle of Kabul city, Afghanistans capital. Every Friday in summer the park is full of kids playing soccer amongst the trees, actors performing plays, and people drinking tea on the grass. I cant go and sit in the park by myself because too many friendly Afghans come up and try to chat with me. I spend 15 minutes communicating through hand signals with a local last week - turned out he just wanted to know my job ..

18.01.2022 How do you describe the situation in Afghanistan? Well thats a topic covered through many hefty books, but here I will to try to explain what I have seen in under three pages of a standard novel. Facebook us:www.facebook.com/agoodbrief

18.01.2022 Why wouldnt the car break down in the middle of a Taliban village. And not just any Taliban village but the epicenter of the Taliban Police. Like fresh meat to the lions.
