23.01.2022 This is Kiki who tried very hard at social distancing when her dad collected his paperwork.

18.01.2022 We would like to thank our clients for their patience at this time. Our team is working hard to minimise the impact of current restrictions on your matter. Here are a few updates on how our office is running: 1. If you meet us for the first time, we won’t be shaking hands. Thank you for your kind greeting but at the moment we’d rather a smile or an awkward wave to say ‘hi’. 2. For appointments that can be completed by telephone (such as updating you about your matter and you... don’t have to sign anything) we will arrange a telephone appointment or send you an email. 3. For appointments where a face to face is required (such as identifying you for a conveyancing transaction), we will aim to keep the appointment as short as possible and provide the rest of the advice by email, phone or letter. 4. We are staggering our face to face appointments so that we don’t have too many people in reception at once. We encourage people to book ahead where possible to maximise your chance of getting the exact appointment time you would like. 5. If you feel you need a support person with you for your appointment, please try to limit it to one person. 6. If you would like a quick update on your matter, please call or email our office. If you pop into reception, we cannot guarantee that the solicitor will be available without an appointment, and we are trying to limit the number of people in reception at any one time. 7. If your matter requires mediation or a court date, you will be contacted about whether your mediation or court event has been converted to a telephone or webinar conference. Your matter is important to us, but we will be following the recommended precautions like everyone else. This means we have to adapt for the time being. We want to keep you safe. We want to keep our staff safe.

13.01.2022 Happy New Year. We re-open on 11 January 2021. We would like to remind all our clients that we are working, but if you want to contact us, email, phone calls and zoom appointments are preferred. If you need to come to the office, please book an appointment. At appointments we will need you to sign in with the QR code or sign the book, wear a face mask and use hand sanitiser at the front door.

09.01.2022 NO CONTACT WILLS We have a number of clients who have called the office as they are over 70 or immunocompromised from medication, would like to update their will, but do not want to risk leaving the house. We are trialling no contact/minimal contact Wills which we complete as follows: 1. We book a telephone appointment with you to take information about what you need over the phone. We book a time to drive to your house. 2. We draft the documents at our office. 3. We drive ...to your house and set up near a window or glass door. You show your ID to us through the glass. We take a photo of that ID for our file. We will then put our phone (and you put your phone) on speaker and we talk you through the document, while we can see each other through the window or glass. We then pass the document under the door or through the window and everyone can sign. As long as we can see you sign the document through the glass, and we have identified you, this meets all the legal requirements for a valid Will. 02 4285 5577 See more

05.01.2022 If you are separating, choose a lawyer that will help you focus on what's relevant and not get caught up in the stuff that doesn't matter. That's how problems get solved quickly and people can start the new chapter of their life. 02 4285 5577

05.01.2022 Family Law Mediation. Aim for no bad blood

04.01.2022 The Family Law Courts have had to change the way they do things. Why not try mediation which we can do by telephone or webconference.

03.01.2022 We don't usually get political, but this gets a big tick from us on Budget night.
