Brilliant rock m roll album of worldly wise tunes, loads of cru...de vernacular driving hard boiled lyricism , pumping grooves and cool guitar sounds. Ten songs by John, Mikey and Justin and a cover of That’s Not Me by the Beach Boys and Time For A Change from the first Split Enz album. I used to see John leading his band Young Modern every weekend while living in Adelaide in 1979. He had a blonde haircut like Keith Relf from the Yardbirds and the band should really have been killing it straight out of Boston and releasing stuff on Beserklee.
