25.01.2022 Some of you may be aware that I have developed and written a book on strength training call Practical Tensiometrics. While my book focuses mainly on using the "Iron Wires" within your body to generate and manipulate power, it's potential as a physical and mental treatment modality is vast, as it strengthens, balances, and brings you conscious awareness of the inner workings of your Mind-Body. The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is one of the more complicated joints in the body.... Sufferers of TMJ pain dysfunction syndrome (TMJPDS) often suffer for years without relief. I will be applying the Tensiometric Methods to help sufferers of TMJPDS. Lots of studying and experimentations ahead. Stay tuned. #tensiometrics

23.01.2022 Jaw (TMJ) Pain and Dysfunction, Biomechanics Perspective Your spine looks and behave like a bow, while the myofascial lines in front of the spine act like strings. The whole system functions harmoniously when the bow is stable and the bowstring is properly supported and moves without stagnation. Your lower jaw is not fixed to your head like a door hinge, but floats/suspended in a network of elastic bands between your skull and your thorax. Instability of your core and your sp...ine (and malocclusion) causes erratic movement of the jaw. Your jaw muscles may also tense up to improve stability of the system. These factors, in my opinion, are the major causes of jaw tightness, discomfort and pain. Of course, your dentist can make you a splint to be worn on your teeth to remove your irregular bite, but that’s only one aspect of possible causes, plus in a health jaw the teeth should not touch while you are at rest anyway. The logical conclusion, therefore, is to stabilise and balance your core, and to promote fluidity of movement of your entire body.

22.01.2022 As we are going through this unprecedented COVID-19 situation, we are adhering to Government recommendations and doing our best to keep you protected. While all non-urgent procedures are to be postponed, we will continue to provide frontline essential services. If you or your family are suffering from any dental problems, we will do our best to help, and to relieve pressure on the already stretched Health system. Together, if we all do our bit to help each other, we will get through this. Take care Australia and Stay Safe.

19.01.2022 This works for TMJ pain and dysfunction too. Oh, these should be done with back teeth lightly touching and balanced.

16.01.2022 Clear Aligners This is got to be my absolute favorite work in dentistry. It is simple, fast, effective, no-invasive, and absolutely beautiful results. Most cases it can be done in three to six months. Perhaps I know personally the social disadvantages of not having a beautiful smile. This literally transforms lives. It is scientifically proven in psychology studies that a beautiful smile opens you up to more opportunities, for the young and the not so young alike.... PM me for an chat. It’s that easy. No obligations, you just literally have to press a button and we will do the rest. It is a most beautiful gift you can give yourself or your kids. (The attached video is the computer simulation of an actual case. We have the technology to predict every step and to know the result before we even start.)

15.01.2022 Not out of the woods yet, but restriction is dropping back to Level 2 meaning we can begin doing preventive work next week and not just emergencies. We are still not allowed extensive procedures and cleaning has to be done by hand. https://www.medianet.com.au/releases/186503/

14.01.2022 Making a new batch of my NAT-PRO, the professional ALL NATURAL teeth polishing paste. Vegan friendly, all natural ingredients, reduces gum inflammation. Fluoride Free, tested on dentist, not animals ;-)

13.01.2022 Great News! From 8/5/2020, restriction on dental procedures is dropping back to LEVEL 1. With proper precautions, dental clinics across NSW will be operating as normal. Your well being is important to us, and everyone in our profession will be doing our utmost to keep you COVID safe. We look forward to seeing you soon.

10.01.2022 Always let your doctors know you are wearing dentures prior surgery!

09.01.2022 CHARCOAL DOES NOT WHITEN TEETH Charcoal works as strong abrasives that sands off superficial stains, it does not whiten teeth. It is harsh, it can scratch gums and enamel. Repeated use leads to tooth abrasion which causes more staining. To whiten teeth, it needs peroxide or similar agents; and there are plenty of products that can do the job, often less expensive and with much kinder ingredients.

09.01.2022 Orthodontic clear aligners and tidying up with new composite resin restorations. Treatment duration: 11wks. Before, after, and computer simulations/predictions. Very happy with the result :-)

08.01.2022 At the current moment, only genuine urgent conditions are to be treated, and what we are allowed to do is restricted. In time, I foresee as Level of Restrictions elevates, what we are allowed to do will be even more limited. No need to stress though, in the worst scenario you can always seek help at hospital emergencies. In Australia, have one of the best health care systems in the World. However, if you do have any concerns, talk to your dentist NOW. Do not wait till the last minute when help is difficult to find. Stay away from hospital emergencies if possible so our frontline healthcare providers (heroes) can focus on combating the COVID-19. Take care, we will get through this.

04.01.2022 You know you are doing something right when you keep receiving presents from clients. So last week I saved her seemingly irreparable tooth by spending 2hrs rebuilding it out of composite, creating perfect form and function (it’s my OCD thing). So today she bought me a present, and my day is brighter for it. Thank you!

01.01.2022 Let’s chat about antibiotics and the mouth Antibiotics are a wonder drug for helping resolve infections in the body that come from bacteria that have got ...overgrown in places they shouldn’t have If tooth decay has gone through to the nerve, or if gum inflammation has turned nasty, painful and often swollen, dental infection can develop Antibiotics can be useful in these situations. BUT, and it’s a BIG but: unlike other parts of the body, antibiotics won’t completely clear a dental infection Infections around teeth require mechanical or physical clearing by a dental professional as well as, or instead of only chemical clearing by antibiotics. So if you have any mouth pain or swelling, please, please, PLEASE, get in touch with a dentist rather than a medical doctor, to get your infection sorted properly, quickly and cost effectively. Because it’s important to be mindful of too many antibiotics can lead to resistance and them not working when you really really need them.
