18.01.2022 Over the weekend, key Bundaberg locations were used by the United States and Australian military for exercise Talisman Sabre. Talisman Sabre is a training exercise aimed at preparing our military for war. Bundaberg Airport was a key exercise location. There was plenty of military hardware on show including a Royal Australian Air Force C-17 Globemaster and 4 United States Marine Corp MV-22 Osprey.

09.01.2022 Earlier this week as I was driving to Burnett Heads, I noticed the Sunflower patch on the side of the road. For the rest of the week, the only thought that was going through my head was how I was going to fly the drone and get some photos on the weekend. I charged the batteries and set out yesterday afternoon only to be disappointed because the sun was hiding behind some clouds. ... I waited on the side of the road for 30 minutes before the sun made a brief appearance. This is what I managed to capture. I love the greens and yellows of the Sunflowers contrasted by the deep reds of the soil.
