17.01.2022 I have been studying and learning everything I can about White Pointer Sharks for most of my adult life. For more than 50 years I have been their champion and number one supporter and I still don't believe they are man eaters. Unfortunately when they mistake us for prey the results are usually fatal. On returning from six years in Borneo to Perth in 2012, I was shocked at the number of attacks and fatalities here. Since then I have been compiling information from from all... over the world which led me to conclude that after more than 40 years of protection with their ability to birth up to 16 live young at a time, there are now just too many of them out there. My latest book on this subject is now almost ready for printing. It starts off with my earliest wondrous ocean encounters; documents the stories of white pointer shark attack victims and survivors and concludes with reports on the ongoing political debate about what shark mitigation measures are needed to make our beaches safe. I saw your book in the john hughes service centre while waiting and decided I had to have it. I it is a wonderful book with such interesting information about this beautiful country, as I couldn't sit there all day and read it I had to find out where I could buy it. Thankyou again I hope you both have had many other adventures since this book and I hope you have a lovely christmas from Helen and Bruce. Thanks Helen we will!
