11.01.2022 FW: DVLA SCAM ALERT SHEAD Mary 60103 Dear Coordinator... FOR YOUR INFORMATION Following on from my last mail alerting you to the DPD scam, please be aware that there is a very genuine looking bogus mail circulating, purporting to be from Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency, An Update Notification. This was received by one of our coordinators, who has forward it to me. I checked it and IT IS A SCAM. Do not be fooled. Any suspicious emails you receive, Report by simply forwarding it to [email protected] This is an organisation that investigates bogus mails. Therefore for these phishing emails, you can simply forward it to the National Cyber Security Centre. Their website is www.ncsc.gov.uk worth looking at. I would also appreciate it if you can send me any bogus emails you receive so that I can circulate the information and help to prevent people being conned into often giving personal and financial information and in some cases losing a lot of money.
