25.01.2022 This community is amazing. Donations now at $52,500!!! We just told Craig as he went through 60k on the bike :) He has his biggest bunch of support riders yet, ...including Olympic triathlete Maxine Seear and Dave Kalinowski, winner of last year's inaugural Ultraman Australia. 24.01.2022 Craig is out on the bike with incredible support getting it done!

24.01.2022 He's running around 6 to 6.5 minute k's. Myself and Chris, who has been doing some filming (yay!!!) for a documentary, were down at the far turnaround of the course and counted over 50 people running with Craig. He ran up to us and said "You know I'm going to do this".

23.01.2022 Craig is killing it on the bike! 120km down.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to help us reach our goal for @johnmacleanfndn I'll write more soon once recovery is further advanced and brain functionality more "normal" but i just want to say a massive heart felt "Thank You" to everyone involved in the success of #8in8in8. ... 08.01.2022 Craig making it look easy!

07.01.2022 Yesterday Craig caught up with the crew from Jaggad, who have been one of the biggest supporters of #8in8in8 right from the outset. Craig wore Jaggad kit for e...very single ride and run last week, and we can testify that he didnt have a SINGLE chafing issue (believe me, he would have told us if he wasnt happy!). Like many of us, Jaggad were completely inspired and quite simply in awe of what Craig achieved, as well as being blown away by the support of this community. They would love to offer you all a special 8+8+8 (ie 24%) discount off ALL CYCLING PRODUCTS, including the Throw Back Thursday jersey that Craig wore throughout 8in8in8. Just visit www.jaggad.com and use the code 8x8x8 at checkout the offer is good up until midnight Easter Monday. Happy shopping, and let us know your thoughts on your Jaggad gear!

07.01.2022 A defining moment for @CraigPercival during #8in8in8 This moment could perhaps be the defining moment of #8in8in8. .. #fbf to last week in Sydney, I'd just come off 3 super warm Ironmans in Darwin, Perth then Adelaide. Then 3hrs sleep in Hobart before 30mins sleep after finishing Canberra whilst driving to Sydney. Massive thnx to Craig Alexander for getting me thru the swim on this day, albeit dizzy patches where he thankfully forced me to eat and drink. When a 3x World IM ch...amp talks, you listen I cant recall alot about the massage treatment i was getting other than it was way overdue and i really wasn't sure how i was going to get on the bike. In 1995 I'd watched John Maclean become the first wheelchair athlete to complete Hawaii Ironman. I remember thinking, if he can do it, i can do it. On this day I'd watched John park his wheels and walk over to me and kneel down. Bloody amazing #leavingthewheelsbehind John spoke to me about pain and suffering. He told me that everyone would understand if i decided to opt out after 5x Ironmans in 5 days. I'd raised $30k up to that point and people would understand given lack of sleep. He also looked me straight in the eye and told me that "pain is temporary and memories last forever" & that if i just get back on the bike and take it 5k at a time, who knows what might happen. After all, i was 5.5 days in and there were only 2.5 more days to go, then i could rest. It sounds and is so simple yet at that point in time, hearing it from John was exactly what i needed. John has always pushed his body and mind to find new limits, I've massive respect for this. John then came out and rode several hours with me alongside @stevewaugh @crowiealexander and many others who supported. To top it off, we walked the final 2k of the marathon together with many others at some early hour in the morning To absolutely everyone that came along to any moment of #8in8in8 I thank you from the middle of my heart for your support. Some gave a cheer, some walked with me for 6hrs in the middle of the night when all i knew was which way was forwards. I will be eternally grateful for your support. Much love and thnx to you all. We did it #johnmacleanfoundation #nolimitsendurance See more

07.01.2022 Good morning everyone! This is Kate checking in on behalf of Craig - he is still catching up on sleep, and has been having some medical attention to his feet, ...but he's really looking forward to jumping online later today to post his thoughts on what he has just achieved, and how much your support helped him along the way. Sunday night was absolutely incredible, and the perfect ending to #8in8in8. It was exactly how Craig had hoped it would be - surrounded by his No Limits Endurance athletes, friends and family, on his favourite running track, with - finally - ideal weather. He crossed the finish line with Lindell, Sam and Sienna, closely followed by the remarkable support group who were with him pretty much all day. Fundraising is now at just over $77,000...SO CLOSE to our target of $80,000!!! It would be amazing if we could get there by the time Craig is online - here's the link one last time: https://8in8in8.everydayhero.com/au/8in8in8 :)
