The presentation will provide information on applying for an Automotive Apprenticeship including: How an apprenticeship is structured and requirements for apprentices Expectations of employers and employees Rates of pay/hours and workplace conditions An opportunity to meet our Service Managers from across the John McGrath Auto Group We will have short presentations and information from training and industry representatives including: Skills ACT Motor Traders Association NSW our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Managers and staff from John McGrath Auto Group Register your interest by emailing us at [email protected] Places are strictly limited and bookings essential.

The John McGrath Auto Group was established in 2000 after John McGrath moved to Canberra from Liverpool, NSW and began operating the Ford dealerships in Woden and Belconnen. Throughout the years the John McGrath Auto Group has continuously expanded with 12 franchises across 5 locations in Canberra and Queanbeyan, with John McGrath Holden joining in 2018. ... Across the 20 years of operation we have successfully trained over 100 technicians through our apprenticeship program and currently employ over 250 locals.
