22.01.2022 A small video clip in action in the spray booth on the Goggomobile

21.01.2022 We have finished the Goggomobile Chassis now. We had to pulled it square then remove all but one Floor Panel and Side Rails and Manufacture some front panels and flooring. We were able to Spot Weld a lot of it back together and do plug welding where needed. Its now been Por15 rust inhibited in and out ,then Gravitex the road side and finally Satin Black over that.

19.01.2022 Here is a follow up to the Mk1 Lotus Cortina Engine Bay

16.01.2022 This week we have been making headways on the Lotus Cortina with a bit extra on that but I suppose the hilight of the week is the Goggomobile , yes the Dart but we only have the Chassis here or what's left of it , (similar to the Lotus Cortina), The Dart has had a very hard life and has had a massive accident in it's day with some very bad back yard repairs. We have 3 new Floor sections, a front Floor extension and outer Rails to put on but there is lot of pulling square and ...to deal with old kinks and splits and fractures in it. Here's some pics of it and this afternoon the front end was cut of. Some will understand the state of attempted welding of a back yard repair and the laughs we are having. See more

14.01.2022 My regular painter had a mishap giving himself an injury just before Christmas where he has torn a muscle tendon off his shoulder and will be unable to paint for quite some time. I have been pretty lucky to have some easy colours to paint (whites). Anyway we managed to get a retired painter in to work one day a week where all the cars are prepared and all that had to be done was mix , match mask and paint. Last week went well with 4 jobs painted in a day. He was to come in o...n Thursday to do another batch but rang Wednesday and said it was all too hard and quit leaving me in the lurch , so with short notice and no one available, I had to paint myself. The first one was a Mazda Blue Pearl and last night I did a Nissan 3 layer white pearl, the first time I attempted that doing blends with the base and top coat , then clearing the whole bumper. I am pleased to say it looks great, here is a pic of the damage and the finished look. See more

10.01.2022 Here is another update for what's been happening. We have had a 1971 Mk1 2 Door Escort come in from Huskisson down past Nowra. We have modified the Dash from a 2 dial to a 6 dial and and removed the front guards and the Heater Bubble which is in great shape underneath and will soon be off to be sand blasted and epotec edging. We will be building it into the owners dream Car, a Mexico Replica.

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, the workshop has been in top gear lately and have not had a chance to keep you up to date: This week the Goggomobile Dart Chassis was picked up by the owner and carted off on a trailer. Next is the progress on the Mk1 Lotus Cortina,we were able work around the humidity and work shop and get some epoxy primer and top prime the Turret. We have now dropped it off the rotisserie on to stands where we will now be removing the complete two rear chassis legs , boot floor and the inner and outer rear lower quarter panels, there will be some interesting images on that process.
