01.01.2022 Let's talk hamstrings. And matching socks ... - Due to the current times we're living in. Majority of people are sitting down for majority of the day -... Unfortunately it is becoming more and more common to injure one of the three heads of the hamstring whilst running or performing exercises. So why not try and bulletproof them? - There is an abundance of exercises you can do to target the hamstrings so here are 4 variations. You can do at home or at the gym. - I personally love bodyweight exercises as they are extremely challenging and will definitely make you break a sweat whilst also be neurologically challenging. - Grab yourself some sliders from K-Mart or rebel. They're affordable and just outright fantastic. Forcing you to not only do the movement but the balance required is ridiculous. - We begin with the final progression and then working down to the first. - Hip Hinge Ques -Weight over your midfoot -Hips all the way back -Chest over toes -Drive through heels. Squeeze glutes at the top. - 3 sets of each exercise 12-16 reps of each - Adding a pause forces you to keep everything tight and you'll have no room for cheating. - Share this with your training partners and bulletproof those hamstrings. - If you have any questions regarding fitness or nutrition.
