19.01.2022 Tomorrow is my last day working for the Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre as Johnny’s Cafe Manager. As I leave the cafe in the hands of the wonderful Emily, I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to all of our lovely customers. Whether you came in once or you come in everyday, you have helped contribute to an amazing social enterprise. Johnny’s Cafe helps the community in so many ways, from their SWAP program with the local school, to employing staff who have been out ...of the workforce for a long time and creating a safe place for people to learn new skills, they are more than just a cafe, they are a not for profit social enterprise with a big heart and passion for our community And it has been my pleasure to be a part of this for the past 7 years.
