20.01.2022 Friday 4 September - Jersey Day. Jersey Day focuses on raising awareness of The Organ and Tissue Authority, the Donate Life network, and the importance of organ and tissues donations for those in need. Jersey Day is inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo who tragically lost his life in an accident in May, 2015. Nathan’s family chose to give the gift of life to others to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous nature. John Palmer Public School will not be raising funds for J...ersey Day, but we encourage students to wear a sports jersey to school on Friday 4 September to do our bit in raising awareness. Students who do not have a sports jersey are encouraged to wear a plain coloured shirt. Students are still required to wear appropriate, enclosed footwear and have a hat. Did You Know >1 organ and tissue donor can transform the lives of 10 or more people >Australia is the world leader for successful transplant outcomes. See more
