22.01.2022 The 19 September 2015 was our sailing day, so we were up super early to capture some shots. Venice is an amazing place when all the tourists are not there. . Here are a couple shots of Venice and our first sunset on the Mediterranean Sea.

18.01.2022 Well I’m back out patrolling the NT QLD border as part of COVID-19 border restrictions. This time I’m working night shift and I managed to capture these shots as my first attempt at Starscapes. Taken at the Urandangi border crossing.
16.01.2022 Today started day two at the #covid_19 NT/QLD border patrol office, working the static border checkpoint on the Barkly Highway Camooweal. Currently there are several V8 Supercar combinations waiting in Camooweal for permission to enter the NT.

12.01.2022 Last night we patrolled to 70km north of Urandangi on the Urandangi Camooweal Road, where we sat and propped for about an hour. This gave me time to capture these images of the Milky Way. . For those who are interested the EXIF details are: Nikon D7200 using 10-20 Sigma lens. 10 Sec exposure, iso 5000, f3.5 @ 10mm.

06.01.2022 My travels during the COVID-19 border patrols gave me opportunities to capture some of the vast areas of Western Queensland. Here are a couple images.
05.01.2022 To continue on with our European holiday, the 23/09/2015 saw us visit Istanbul. A tour of the Blue Mosque (built between 1609 & 1616), Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sophia (built in 536AD). Don't forget the smells and colours of the Grand Bazaar.

05.01.2022 On 21/09/2015 the ship was suppose to dock in the Greek port of Katakolon; however, the harbour pilot said the sea was too rough to bring the ship in. Cleveland Bay is worse sometimes heading to Magnetic Island. So we sailed on to Izmir arriving on 22/09/2015 and were bused to the Ancient Roman City of Ephesus. .
