21.01.2022 Some final campaign words from Mayor Bob Manning on behalf of the Cairns Unity team, We stand on a record of eight years of management of the council, managing... finances well, we have an enviable record in terms of rates, balanced budgets and surplus. This council has proven itself to be sensible. We are in very challenging times at the moment, it is normal to turn to those you trust and we ask voters to trust us. We have never let this city down and we never will; we love this place. Last day of prepoll today at Parramatta Park, Smithfield and Edmonton which are open until 6pm, with the official Election Day tomorrow. Thank you for your support. 16.01.2022 I am acutely aware, as a parent, that many of you, are much more concerned with staying safe and reassuring your families about Coronavirus19 at the moment. So..., I thought it would be better to share with you this great video (by a friend of a friend in NSW) and a pamphlet that you can download to discuss 'The Virus' with your kids. I hope it will provide some reassurance to you and yours. You can download the leaflet here https://bit.ly/3bjMjVK Rhonda Coghlan Authorised by R. Manning, 36 Guthrie Cl.
