17.01.2022 Saturday Social Dance night 26th July 2020 Special night tonight The Wendy / Danni Duo asked to come and play for us as they needed the practice of playing to a dance audience. With Covid practicing in the office music room lacked atmosphere. We gladly accepted their generous offer. the crowd of 16 was smaller than anticipated but those who chose not to attend missed out on an energetic evening. with nice groups of dancers enjoying the change provided by the live music.... Thank you again Wendy and Danni. An excellent supper was provide by contribution by members particularly Cheryl who provided some alternative foods to share.

08.01.2022 Tunes was a gamble after the storm last night the carpets got very wet but cleaned up well. As a result there was only a small attendance but the usual energy by those present was good, even though it was extremely humid.. It was great to see the return of Michelle after an extended absence. The day though belonged to Rosie who celebrated her 90th birthday... with the usual cacophony of Happy Birthday , why was she born... and cutting of the cake.
08.01.2022 Saturday Night Social Dance 8th August 2020 A great attendance with 24 friends in attendance. Great surprise Lilian back from Brisbane 3 weeks early, another Corona casualty, visit by Janette For the first time we had all attendees on the dance floor at the same time for the good old Gypsy Tap, a great cheer went out. The night was full of energy and Cheryl supplied the fruit punch and large cake for our tea break and lucky door draw. Bill won the Lucky Door and John Kruger ...the raffle ( he re donated the prize back to Hideaway). Michael provided the music keeping as many on the dance floor as possible but sometimes it was hard to hear the music over the prattle of all the talking going on, so thank you Michael from us all for your constant monitoring of hats being played. Everyone is looking forward to next Tuesday. See you all then, in the mean time safe travelling and good health. Just John

The decore was excellent and provided by Cheryl as usual, along with a lot of munchies green cake, choc frogs in green jelly cups, snakes peppermint chock balls. Many took great trouble to meet the theme of green for the day wich helped to enhance the atmosphere greatly. Thank you all for your participation, it wouldn't work if you just sat back. A special thank you from all to Cheryl for all the effort she continues to put into Hideaway.
02.01.2022 Tunes this morning was attended by only a few and with Easter the theme, some have missed out on the delicacies on offer by the Easter Bunnies, though my tail kept slipping. Cheryl as usual went to great trouble to make a morning to remember, decorations Easter eggs, gifts and hot cross buns... Lilian produced a platter of apple pies, delicious shortbread pastry, yummmmm. thank you to those who were able to attend, we missed those who were otherwise engaged and could not make it. Looking forward to see you next Tuesday...
