24.01.2022 Well done to LCR Honda Team's Taka_Nakagami, who has qualified in second position for tonight's BMW M Grand Prix of Styria, which takes place at the Red Bull Ring. This is the 28-year-olds first #MotoGP front row start and thanks to our Johnson Racing Team photographer/stats man, Russell Colvin, he has worked out a few cool stats which you might find interesting about Japanese riders in the premier class... The last #Japanese rider to start on the front row in the premier cat...egory was Shinya Nakano at the 2006 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 15-16-17 September aboard the #Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR. Nakano, who posted a 1min29.258, started from second place on the grid for what was the fourteenth round of the World MotoGP Championship that year. 21.01.2022 Well, that's round one of the Pirelli Motul Victorian Road Racing Championship done and dusted for us here at Winton Motor Raceway... Overall, it was a a good weekend for Zack and Johnson Racing Team, as we have made lot of improvements ahead of next weekend's ASBK - Australian Superbikes, which takes place at Wakefield Park. Unfortunately, Zack had a small crash at turn nine in the fourth race of the Limited Sports race this afternoon, which has made us miss out on the last ...#Supersport300 race. With ongoing border restrictions, due to the COVID-19, the ASBK Management Team have made the crucial decision to cancel the second round of the ASBK, which was scheduled for 16-18 October at Wakefield Park in Goulburn, New South Wales. 14.01.2022 The #ASBK Management Team have advised the 2020 ASBK - Australian Superbikes calendar has been revised following latest developments of the COVID-19 State Government restrictions announced in Queensland, NSW and Victoria, with the ASBK Championship now being reduced to three remaining rounds in 2020. As a result, the team at ASBK advise that the ASBK round planned at Winton Motor Raceway in September will now be postponed until 6 - 8 November, and will replace the Morgan Park... Raceway round.
