Before we buy the hay we need to make sure it ticks all the boxes, meeting the required specs and passing an Annual Ryegrass Toxicity (ARGT) test. 17.01.2022 Congratulations to Steve Prior who clocks up 35 years of service at Johnson’s today! Steve started with us here in Kapunda when we had around 30 employees and our pellet mill capacity was 15-20,000 tonne each year. Fast forward 35 years and Steve is still one of our gun pellet mill operators. The Kapunda arm of the business has grown to just over 100 staff producing 100,000 tonne of stockfeed pellets and 100,000 tonnes of hay each year....
