23.01.2022 To all our fathers, grandfathers, step-dads and carers. By listening to their comments and conversations throughout the week, and seeing the smiles on their faces, it is clear to us that these kids love you with all of their hearts. Happy Father’s Day.

23.01.2022 Johns River Public School will remain non-operational on Tuesday 23 March 2021. The NSW Department of Education, in consultation with the SES, is continuing to monitor local conditions and keep our school communities updated on the operational status of our schools. We encourage you to follow the directions from emergency services and to avoid driving or playing in flood waters.... For the latest information and advice on the weather conditions and warnings visit NSW SES or call the Public Information Inquiry Centre on 1800 227 228 for general enquiries. Call NSW SES on 132 500 for emergency assistance in flood and storms. Our community continues to be heavily impacted by this weather event and the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our priority. I hope to be able to update families once again this time tomorrow via Facebook & text. Please take care Murray McGrath

13.01.2022 On Fridays we BUILD, BREAK, DESIGN and CREATE! Over the last few weeks we have worked on several projects including a marble run, boat design, making parachutes and bridge design and construction. We also tried tinkering with electronics, coded a Sphero, and recycled old shirts into a new creation (stay tuned to see the finished product). Oh, and we also did an experiment... Fridays are awesome!... #LoveWhereYouLearn See more
