13.01.2022 Wow i have been a little slack on this page sorry :( We have been pretty busy over the winter period with shows & a tour or two. But we have just finished doing our 7th year at Deni Ute Muster on the second stage only this year :) . We would like to thank the the Ute muster for having us back. Lots of fun as always. This year my 2IC was Alabama a very valuable member of the Johnstons lighting team. We went with something a little different this year by using the truss's in a... 4 finger formation so we could combat the dark area we have in front of the wedge line this worked quite well most of the time. We lit the acts with 8 x Mac 700's , 24 x Mac Aura ( copies ), 8 x Robe robin 600 washes , 6 x Tour Pro Spark 400 Strobe/Washes , 4 x Atomic 3000 strobes , 4 x 4Liter Blinders & 6 Duet Blinders. The show was controlled from our Avolite Quartz & wing. We had some great feed back on the show this year & look forward to returning next year. See more

12.01.2022 Last month we had the privilege to do the last of the ARC Abbey Road 50 years tour. This was the last of the shows we started in August last year. It was such a pleasure to work with all involved with the show that was the brain child of Kram ,Darren. Davey & Mark Thanx for having Johnstons suppy you lighting needs for the tour. Lighting concole was the Avolites Quartz with wing 8 x Mac Aura ( copies ) 5 x Robin 600 washes 4 x Mac 700 profiles ( first half of the tour )... 4 x ACME XA-400 Pro Spots ( second leg of the tour ) 4 x solar 250's ( first leg of the tour ) from Phaseshift 4 x Mole Richardson 5K's from Phaseshift 2 x Unique 2.0 Hazers A big shout out to all the house staff in the venues we work you hard work made our life a lot easier. The audio package was supplied by JPJ Audio with Bob Johnson on Mons & Clint Stagoll ( first leg ) & James Oysters Kilpatrick ( second leg ) on FOH. See more

09.01.2022 Last weekend we had the pleasure to supply the lighting at Leura Park Estate for the John Butler Trio. The always wonderful Baz Barret was his LD & was a pleasure to work with him again. The rig consisted of 18 Aura (copies) 6 Robe Robin 600 washes 8 Extreme Beams 4 Atomic 3000's 4 4Liters 2 Unique 2.1 hazers & 2 Antari HZ-350 hazers. A big shout out to my 2IC Pat Scadden who is always a pleasure to have on board & a very valuable team member. JPJ supplied the PA & Monitor system for the show with there awesome crew Lachlan Cresswell (FOH) Nick Carter (Monitors) & James Taylor (Patch guy) . Photos below

05.01.2022 The Download Festival rig ( Old School Is Still Cool ) Control was Hog 4 Full Boar & Jands Event 36 / 72 , Lamps consisted of 10 Mac 700's, 10 Mac Aura ( copies ), 24 MFL's, 48 NSP's, 32 ACL's, 6 Leko 12x6, 8 Duets, 7 four Liters, 2 Smoke Machines & 2 Unique Hazers. Good fun all round..

04.01.2022 So once again we got to supply the lighting at Let Go Festival this year . The headline act was Hill Top Hoods with Paul Owen on the lighting controls. Such a pleasure to work with him again after so long. We supplied 12x ACME XA-400 pro spots 12x Robin 600 wash 12x Extreme Beams 18x Aura copies 8x Ayrton Nando-Beams 15x Duet blinders 8x 4 Liter Blinders 6x Mac 700 Profiles 2x Unique 2.0 Hazers 1x Smoke machine ( Sub hired ) 8x JDC-1 8x X4bars ( from SWS ) Lighting control was For Paul 1x Avolite Tiger Touch ( from Above & Beyond ) 1 x MA2 ( SWS ) & our Avolite Quartz. Such a pleasure to work with all our suppliers on this show & a massive shout out to my lighting crew Chris ( Alabama ) Tucker & Guida Forward that help me make all this come together Love your work guys.
