19.01.2022 This is a step in the right direction and it's important to put National Parks and conservation in the spotlight. Much more long-term investment is needed in Queensland's National Parks and regional Ranger jobs (including Indigenous Ranger jobs). 09.01.2022 Biodiversity Month is a good time to shine a light on our Restoring Bowling Green Bay Wetlands project, funded by the National Landcare Program. Bowling Green ...Bay (BGB) is one of only five wetland sites in Queensland listed under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of International Importance. Ramsar is the name of the city in Iran where the convention was signed to recognise wetlands around the world that were especially important according to a range of criteria, such as supporting habitat for water birds and endangered species. BGB is home to nearly 500 species of animal, such as the northern quoll and flatback turtle, and more than 500 species of plant such as the Mt Stuart Ironbark. It is key habitat for migratory shorebirds, such as the eastern curlew. 03.01.2022 What other environmental jobs and initiatives would you like to see invested in as part of our economic recovery?

03.01.2022 Do you remember this day?? Such a shame how little has changed in six years. Public stunts may not change the government's mind, but they do send a strong message and show a community's commitment to a cause. Plus they're super fun.
