24.01.2022 Check out the next video from our proud sponsor Voyage Financial. It is a bit longer than the last, but provides some good information on how to plan out a career so as to achieve financial security in the long run. It both fills me (unnamed SMOS page admin) with terror about how a consultant on a huge salary can wind up as a slave to their lifestyle, as well as optimism that I have the time and means to turn it around (if I can break the TDS coffee addiction)

13.01.2022 Hello SMOS! *** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT *** Some colleagues of ours are currently undertaking a research project addressing the barriers posed to junior doctors undertaking clinical research as part of their everyday practice, and how we might change things. Good quality clinical research is beneficial to all of us in our day to day work. For many of us busy schedules, poor funding or mentorship, amongst other things, prevent us from engaging in these activities. ... It would be hugely valuable if you could take the time to complete this 5-10 minute survey; do it walking to your car, on the loo or sitting in front of the TV! Takes no time at all but provides invaluable information, your feedback is important! Link to survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9HXFT8M For further information about this project or any questions, please feel free to contact via email: [email protected]
